Post-Whoring I'm not sure if I understand the meaning of this curious phrase... Phaedra, could you please illuminate it for the public?
[/dripping sarcasm, but in a friendly way]

No... I must answer this!
Apparently it is the making of comments on a thread just to boost ones overall statistics. <tongue in cheek>As opposed to posting messages that actually have some value in regards to, well, anything important </tongue in cheek>
I'll have you know that, as the original Unfictologist, I reached that pinnacle without post-whoring... not one bit... no matter what Dmax says.
And I am not making this one just to reclaim my rightful place at the top of the post-whore heap... so there.

Magesteff acheived this distinction over the course of ONE game; she was the consumate research librarian for CTW. If there was a spec, she found gobs of data and information on the topic for us.

You mean it wasn't simply illuminated in the light of my presence? [/example]

Prize What is the prize for post-whoring? Perhaps paying the unfiction bandwidth bills for a month?

I think a thread titled post-whoring should be locked because, well, you don't invite the pigs into your home and then wonder why they pooped on your rug!
