I don't think it means anything, but I was testing the box out to see if there is a character limit on it (doesn't appear to be) and I noticed that despite it being a large box, if you exceed the width of the box it will not continue on a new line, just scroll over. Also, you cannot put in return carriages to forcabely go down a line.
It's most likely that this is just an oversight, and total irrelevant, but you never know, so I thought I'd share.

Hey, this is kind of off topic but if you're posting Season 2 spoilers, please write which episode you're refering to. Otherwise it's useless. Just writing "Season 2 Spoiler" when really you're talking about the season 2 finale doesn't help. There's no way for me to know if I've seen that episode or not, y'know?
Also, the anagram "merge those titles" makes sense to me. Just for reference, the titles are:
q9als2002
t9agen75
u8egnce86
Edit: Someone over at Inside The Experience worked out that the anagram is
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
light sequence again
Which happens to be the password for the VIK page.
Then you get a cool game to play. After 4, 8 16 and 23 levels of the game, I got the message:
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
department of heuristics and research on material
I figured I'd get one for 42 as well... But I messed up on level 25

Just to clarify the solve, cos I haven't seen a full explanation posted yet (credit to JustWillow at Inside the Experience):
The "hole" image filenames are
q9als2002
t9agen75
u8egnce86
The clue "timeless" tells us to get rid of the date-looking numbers at the end of each filename. We then turn the 9,9,8 into i,i,h. We then put all the letters "together":
qials tiagen uhegnce
which anagrams to:
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
light sequence again

SNAP!
I can't beliebe I played it twice. Man, I did not enjoy one second of that game...
Okay, so because The VIK Institute is all to do with the brain , i'm going to assume that they mean Heuristics in the psychological sense... Which is like, the rules for why and how people make decisions, come to judgments and solve problems.

Ah, you beat me to it. I just ran an anagram search and found that one. Good job though, it was a tough clue. An anagram to find an anagram.

An anagram to find an acronym, technically.

I'm confused. isn't an acronym a series of letters to create a word from abbreviations? Such as radar for ra dio d etecting and ra nging.
-EDIT- I see what you were saying, the anagram being DHARMA. I meant the anagram from persephone.thehansofoundation.org (timeless together) to find the anagram from filenames from the hole sites.
So technically, an anagram to find an anagram to find an acronym.

Yes, DHARMA is an acronym, found at the end of the Simon game. Just like SCMODS is an acronym.

How log has anyone played the simon game? I am on round 80. I don't know if I have the patience to go to 108.
EDIT: Nope, I don't have the patience.

We also have another reference to the TV show with the Apollo Bar mention at the beginning of the game. I wouldn't have known what that was if I didn't watch the show. Just thought I'd throw that in.

the sequence i got leading me through 42 was this
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
5151115212344123422521342215452332542225351
I assigned the numbers 1-5 to the keys starting with 1 on the left. Dont know if everyone gets the same pattern or not. Weird how the music stops once you get there.

So, does this mean that DHARMA started out as a department at the Vik Institute? If that is the case, there is more evidence that the whole island is a mind game, or a play on reality. Also, does the fact that the Vik is in Iceland mean that (episode 2x24 season finale)
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
The station we see at the end of the season finale is actually in or around Iceland, and maybe even the island itself?

I think it's the other way around. The Vik Institute is a program within Dharma.
The Island being another program within Dharma.
