Awesome. So let's see.

A voice recorder, a playing card, scissors, an eraser (or a razor blade?), what might be a cigarette or maybe lipstick, CDs, an octagonal design which may have season 2 implications, and an envelope of some sort.

Any ideas?

If you take the initial letters of the bottom items you get...

RECLUSE: Recorder Envelope Card Lipstick Umbrella Scissors Eraser

Seems to fit in with our Alvar views Smile

MJ, since you walloped that one out of the park, what about the other parts?

The two stamps, the two discs, and the piece of paper in the top left?

7800isus.jpg is the filename for the picture...any significance?

Namaste.

Just in case it might help, I photoshopped the image for clarity...

Since this is persephone's hack site, I have to think this is some kind of evidence about more wrongdoings by Hanso staff. I'm also wondering if perhaps there's yet another clue as to a login password or another site (I already tried recluse.thf.org, but that's nothing). As for the title, is she saying "is us," as in the numbers "7800" somehow refers to who she's working with as she hacks/investigates THF? Also, are those blood or lipstick stains on the floor?

GUS: thank you!

So the piece of paper with "NN" printed on it, I thought it might have something to do with an element. I searched.
NN http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/NN :
Quote:
Hypothetically, Nn can refer to nilnilium or neutronium, element 0, or in this case 00.

There are some other interesting "NN" possibilities listed on that page but I wanted to focus on the element idea.
Looking further into "NN" = "neutronium" http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Neutronium :
Quote:
Neutronium is a term presently used in science fiction and in popular literature to refer to an extremely dense phase of matter composed primarily of neutrons. Historically, the word was coined by scientist Andreas von Antropoff in 1926 (scil., before the discovery of the neutron itself) for the conjectured 'element of atomic number zero' that he placed at the head of the periodic table. The meaning of the term changed over time, and from the last half of the 20th century onwards it was used to refer to extremely dense phases of matter resembling the neutron-degenerate matter postulated to exist in the cores of neutron stars.

Hrm. I don't know if it helps.

edit:
oooh, this one is also interesting: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nomen_nescio latin for an anonymous or non-specific person.
I'm sorry, I need sleep and I can't put this together. Maybe I'm just tinfoily on this one. Foily! Any excuse to use tinfoily, heh.

Hmm...in the top left it's two of everything: Two CDs, two stamps(?), and two N's. There may be something with that but I'm not smart enough at puzzle solving to come up with anything.

Namaste.

Speaking the of two N's, notice the line coming out diagonally into view from them. It looks to me like the name "Alvar Hanso" is written in cursive on that line.

Are we sure those are rubber stamps?

Anyway...

Octogon Disc Disc would be 'Odd'

next line is the rubber stamps or whatever sitting on the NN paper, which I have no idea what could be.

Recorder Envelope Card Lipstick Umbrella Scissors Eraser is 'Recluse'

(thanks MJ)

They kind of look like canisters of some kind to me. Film?

The octagon could be the start of the DHARMA logo without the swan.

Namaste.
