Just in case no one has read the history section of the page yet, I'm going to
spolier this, even though it is some massive speculation:
SPEC: OK, so the name of the studio is Wesson Studios. This could be a studio founded by Wes, and his son (thus, Wesson). In the history page, during the Summer of 2005 they start their first project. However, it then says:
"Although almost everyone genuinely likes the treatment, circumstances conspire to prevent any real progress for several months."
These circumstances could be Wes' death! Leaving his son to carry on the filming.

In my version of Internet Explorer, the picture is kind of wonky. I noticed there is some text at the bottom that is cut off on my view. Highlighting it and pasting, it says:
Quote:
Come see what's cooking.

On the history page it says:
Quote:
As Winter ended, Wesson Studios proudly announced details about their upcoming first major release - Devil in the Backyard.
So it'd have to be linked to www.devilinthebackyard.com and therefor mrleeds

Maybe it's only me, but it's noticeable on two different computers.
At the bottom of the bottle, under the frying pan, according to the Source Code, it is suppose to say "Come see what's cooking".
Just thought you might want to know.

Hehe couldn't help it, but Max Steele already said as much.
It does say that, but it looked white to me until I tried highlighting it, then all the text in the picture shifted slightly, as if it was all in a frame and got "Come see what's cooking" in bold black print. Can't get the "frame slide" to happen again though, though when I go back to the page it has the phrase in bold black letters now.

I'm guessing that the Wesson Webmaster does his development on a Mac, because the picture and the text looks perfectly normal - "Come..." sits nicely below the oil picture, and is quite visible.

Wes died in an Accident several years ago
E-mail to me from Sarah Wyatt wrote:
Secondly, the question of what really happened with Wes Keeler is a good one. He died in a car accident a few years ago , but there were a lot of issues raised which were never really answered, at least to my satisfaction. I don't know what really happened, or if I'm just imagining a conspiracy there, but it's something I've wondered about often.
A few years ago could place it at the end of CTW1 in 2003, when Wes died while helping Dale get the stone from Marzano.
But I think you are right: Wesson Studios is too much like Wes' +
son to be a coinsidence. I have a feeler letter going out to the listed e-mail ( who_caresSPLAT wessonstudios.com) to ask that they pass on my respects to Todd Keeler, if they are in contact with him.
Right now is the time to shake the trees and build up our contact list before things get moving so fast we can't find sleep no matter how hard we try.

Yeah, I noticed that information about Wes' death that came out recently shooting a hole in him starting the company.
I also sent and e-mail to Wesson asking them who their staff members were, seeing what I would get as a response.
You know, I hope this film crew is a good thing and not some cover for some 307 business. If I recall correctly from the first CTW, Todd was working with the 307 people (until the the world changed at the end of the story).

It looks fine in Firefox as well.

Hmmm... could be Todd has been having nightmares as well then and trying to expose the 307 group for what it is...

Do we have confirmation that there even is a Todd in this reality? I could be wrong, but I don't remember reading anything about a son of his in this reality. Feel free to trout me or something if I'm wrong.

My current reply to Sarah includes a bit about Todd and the possibility that he is behind Wesson Studios. I would think that Sarah would be close enough to a local author that she would know if he ever mentioned a son.
I also have a feeler out to Wesson Studios directly asking if they know a Todd Keeler, son of Wes Keeler.
I'll let you know what I hear back from them.
