Well, whatever the case may be, this is the third reference to (stuff in episode 2x17 from the *ahem* show)
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
the Blast Door Map.

But "A mouse does not have only one hole," and "Heavy Water" and "Magnus Hanso/Blackrock" are all written on the Blast Door Map.

http://lostpedia.com/wiki/Magnus_Hanso

(catherwood added the comment to identify WHAT is under the spoiler, thank you)

hmm not sure where you see a nose...

But what this looks to me, in my vast knowledge of photography (Highschool photography class....10 years ago) it looks like a bit of a double exposure makeing it look like the ship is melded with the rocks and a building in left side.

I don't want to challenge your education, but I really do see a nose, but then again, I do not see any buildings.

I dunno, I would think that it's more of a connection that the image in the scanned book page is the same as the background of the freewebs site. Seems more direct and obvious over a really, really faint possible nose in a picture (I can see the nose, but, I mean... what's the point?)

But wait a minute. How does all this new information about The Black Rock tie in with what's on the computer screen?

I think it's more what the connection is to the Allied Copenhagen Marine Merchants. It's connecting the fact that the Hanso Group (which was established ON the computer screen to be involved with ACMM) originally purchased another company and changed it's name to the ACMM itself.

Also that the Black Rock was likely with this company, and... well, we know where that went.

Yes... good point. So then the only important thing from the screen is the name of the company; not what Mittelwerk was inputting...?

Foolishness

The braintrust scripting the Rachel Blake endeavor probably did not bother to think ahead. How dumb are we? Her video #2, claims she is in Copenhagen and follows Mittelwerk to an archive building, where to "infiltrate" she tosses on a red hat and supposedly poses as a pizza delivery person. Now, I know the Danes speak English, but they would not wonder why an American girl, of all people, comes to some obscure archive to deliver a pizza no one ordered?

Not to mention, both she and Persephone are disgruntled former Hanso employees. Note Rachel, in her words, is only spending a small fraction of the mass of money she made at Hanso on this little exposure adventure. Very altruistic - in the end she still makes money on the deal, profting from a company she vilifies. So isn't cut from the same cloth as the Hanso evildoers?

Why the the game dictate no Hanso employee can be trusted, yet we take the word of two ex-Hanso tarts as gospel? Why should they be trusted?

So funny that you bring that up cause its one of the things I was talking to iobi about earlier. I asked him if it seemed strange that a danish pizza delivery outfit looked just like an american one and why an american girl would be working it and he said pizza just seems like itd be the same around the world.

Ha.

I was actually wondering that myself.

Say what you will, though, at least we're getting videos with hot girls repeatedly - and iobi was right, she looked damn good in that hat Smile

Um, well I see this interesting/creepy face kinda, but I actually was wondering about the lighter rock or structure that's at the 'chin'.

But... I agree with the point that, even if something is there, then why? This is more likely just an initial photoshopping experiment, similar to the DJDan one..

I think you're being too harsh. If Hanso are keeping secrets as well as they seem to be, who better to uncover them than former/current employees? The Verizon guys spelled out plain as day that the company they work for is being ramrodded by Hanso interests, something they despise in spite of working for said company. The earnings is the same thing, the fact that you're on a company payroll, especially one as large as Hanso, doesn't mean you profit directly from anything that any branch of the company does.

With regards to the pizza thing, I agree that it's probably an oversight but there are a few ways to easily explain it, should the PMs with to do so. For example, I work for a German company with office in the U.S. and Japan, and the official company language is English. No matter where the office is, fluent English is a requirement for employment, for everyone from the sales staff to the receptionist. It's not uncommon to have staff in Germany who *only* speak English, and more than one local business accounts for the fact that a lot of their potential customers are English speakers.

The television show Lost is based on "true" events and organizations, like Alvar Hanso, the DHARMA Initiative, etc. I wouldn't expect the producers of Lost to get it exactly the same as the "real" Black Rock.

yeah in those pohots the black rock looks like its made of fiberglass not wood it looks like plastic

and it appears to have been sitting there for a long time things sink into the ground after sitting a long time (you can take a look at all the cars in my grandparents backyard for proof of that)

so if you chop off the bottom half of the boat turn it sligthly sideways and rot off a mast it looks simailar

just play along Twisted Evil
