That's not the actual thread with the huge posts from beforehand... the first one had many more pages, and talked about more specific and detailed things about 'life'.

hehe I'm a man of many (sometimes redundant or excess) words Razz I think out loud a lot rather than compose the thoughts cleanly.
(fyi, searching for 'filibuster' only returned this thread, which makes me think the original thread was deleted, which I believe did happen way back in the day)

EDIT: For nostalgia's sake, it's happening again, with Ariock and I, but this time it's definitely much more mathematical, and only a bit philosophical, in discussing relativity and observed vs calculated time. Smile

All we heard is that the prophet's ship was bugging out, and when we came back, you had the "goddamned apocalypse". It's entirely possible that the rest of Regret's fleet stayed on to fight, before reinforcements arrived to take the fight to the entirety of the planet. We did see quite the wasteland in the Halo 3 trailer, and Bungie said that the Covenant now have control over the planet.

Suffice to say, no matter where the crew may have been, at that point none of them are safe(or possibly still alive).
