Update from Sam

I wrote with a million questions -here is his reply

I've made some good progress but these are some pretty big tasks and

On top of all that, the Municipal Building has been literally crawling

investigators in the last week. Yes, that's right. Investigators. I
don't know
if I should be sharing this since it hasn't been announced or made
official yet
but it appears Aglaura's about to be implicated in the Marzano
investigation in
some way. I've tried to stay out of their way but I've had to deal with
them as
they been accessing and going over every inch of our network. I don't
know for
sure what they've been looking for and who they think may be involved
but I
know one thing for sure - both the Mayor and J.D. seem on the verge of
nervous
breakdowns over the whole situation.
I'll apologize in advance for Dale's lack of contact too. I know he
plans on
writing everyone by tomorrow and possibly even doing another chat in
the next
day or two to fill everyone in on what he's been up to and what he has
found.
You know, it's actually been kind of strange (yeah, like everything
else around
here is "normal"!). Ever since Dale started hearing about a few of
his "helpers" having doubts in him, it's almost as if he's had trouble
staying
focused and getting things done. Don't get me wrong; I don't mean that
in a
pouting or angry kind of way. In fact, I don't even think it's any kind
of
conscious process. It's more like everyone's belief in him is some kind
of
motivating factor or source of energy for him. Anyway, despite that,
he's
continued to also receive a large amount of supportive e-mail and I
think ready
to get out of the "funk" he's been in. Plus I think some things may be
finally
starting to make some sense. Like I said, look for a message from him
soon.
I don't have much time right now but I'm going to try and answer at
least a few
of your questions.
1) The disc: I know Dale has been working on this and may have some
ideas about
it. I'm sure he'll address that with you.
2) Wes: Wes didn't have time to go over much with us while he was here
but he's
due back this weekend so hopefully that will change soon.
3) Greywethers: Yes, Dale has been working on this and I think he's
made some
progress but is stuck on a text passage or something. Unfortunately, I
haven't
been working on this with him so I can't be more specific.
4) The weird stuff going on: Yes, it's going on all over, but
especially near
the cranberry bogs, the Pine Barrens, the old forest, and the even the
Library.
I haven't been over to talk to Del yet but that's a good idea.
5) Bruce: I assume you mean Bruce Abbott, Dale's ex-partner but to be
honest
with you, I haven't had time to check out anything he's done recently
so I
don't really know what you are talking about. As far as I know though,
I'm not
in any videos anywhere.

What have I missed this time? Confused

I received the same letter, but not the last part (answers to Barb's questions).

The bit about Bruce was a question I asked about the new site Bruce is involved with - the one for the band. I asked if the video of England and home might be Wes, Dale, or Sam or something to do with them.

Sounds to me like Dale, now that he's gotten a Wish, is powered by belief, muchlike the poltergeist incidents in town. Hmm, are the poltergeist incidents and Dale's lack of focus related? Maybe the "poltergeist force" is Dale's pent up fear and anger of the situation manifesting. His trip to the other side may have affected him in some non-obvious ways.

Since I don't usually post on this forum, I hope I'm putting this in the right place. Rolling Eyes

the Mayor have holed themselves up in the Mayor's office and his secretary
isn't letting anyone in there except other Council members. A few people have
asked me if I know where they can find Dale, too. Something big is obviously
going down. I'll try and keep you informed as I can.
I'm also going to try and get a few things online as soon as possible, pics
from the library if I can and that map Dale mentioned to me, too. I'll let you
know.
