I was just writing up my own thread on this, you beat me to it by about a minute. I'll fold it into here:

There is a trash folder at http://www.letyourcompassguideyou.com/usr/ that contains a record of a coversation between Rachel (username:OpenersHep [helloooooooo, Persephone!]) and wtkFleet35 (William T. Kirkpatrick of DaimlerChrysler - see fleet docs in pthompso folder) about what his cars are being used for. 4 convos but the dates are a little weird - Mon. March 1, 2006 (March 1 was not a Monday) A the end of third convo she sends him a file, and it shows "*** You have received F:\admin\my_docs\missing_organs.zip." (so we know the convos were posted from wtk's end) If you go to: http://www.letyourcompassguideyou.com/admin/my_docs/missing_organs.zip you need a username and password to access the doc. Begin hunting!

I've just read on LostPedia that the .zip file referred to in the final IM conversation has been found (not quite sure how!) at http://www.letyourcompassguideyou.com/admin/my_docs/missing_organs.zip . It needs a username and password to access it.
I've tried rblake and 105years but this doesn't work!

Nice find! I was about to also post about the login/password request at www.letyourcompassguideyou.com/admin/my_docs/missing_organs.zip (actually, it asks for a password for anything past /admin/)
A quick observation:
The last IM is dated March 05, where he says "tell me more."
The memo in the pthompso directory where Daimler-Chrysler cancels the contract is dated March 10.
That meddlesome Rachel/OpenersHep.
EDIT: actually my first thought was that the missing_organs.zip file must be the same microfiche documents that we've already seen that talked about the organ harvesting at the hospitals in Africa. This may or may not be the case, however.

Winston Wolf wouldn't us celebrating just yet, we have work to do on that password! haha
Could wtkFleet35 be the username? Or "wkilpatr" to follow Hanso naming convention? From the Mandrake Wig myspace page (which may be OOG) the word "paperclip" stands out, but so far it hasn't been helpful.

Could be - maybe this is just to confirm that Rachel is Persephone. Or, maybe it is a smear by Hanso! *cue dramatic music* But don't forget, the convo log comes from wtkFleet35's computer.

The IM times are weird:
Code:
Session Start (wtkFleet35:OpenersHep): Mon Mar 1 21:34:42 2006
Session Close (OpenersHep): Mon Mar 6 21:40:42 2006
Session Start (wtkFleet35:OpenersHep): Fri Mar 03 13:08:17 2006
Session Close (OpenersHep): Fri Mar 03 15:12:23 2006
Session Start (wtkFleet35:OpenersHep): Sat Mar 04 21:30:10 2006
Session Close (OpenersHep): Fri Mar 03 1:34:42 2006
Session Start (wtkFleet35:OpenersHep): Sun Mar 05 09:23:14 2006
Session1:
Mar 1 was actually a Wednesday (not Mon), and although Mar 6 was really a Monday, but I doubt that chat lasted 6 days, overlapping the other sessions.
Session 2:
This one seems okay.
Session 3:
They're travelling back in time. Neat.
Session 4:
It never closed.
EDIT: something else I noticed- the dates on Session 1 should be Mar "01" and Mar "06." They're missing the leading zeroes.
Plus, Sessions 1 & 3 both start around 21:30... and although Session 4 started at 09:23, wtkFleet35 doesn't respond until 12 hours later, at 21:40.
EDIT2: Ugh, the more I look at this the more things I notice that bother me. Okay, more leading zeroes are missing, in both instances of "1:34" here:
Code:
[1:34] *** You have received F:\admin\my_docs\missing_organs.zip.
Session Close (OpenersHep): Fri Mar 03 1:34:42 2006
Also, this log file is inconsistent in whether it can display non-letter characters. Up until Session 3, in the message at 21:40, where wtkFleet35 makes the cute typing mistake, the apostrophe in words such as "I'm" shows fine:
Code:
[21:40] wtkFleet35: enough already! Tell me who you are or I'm blocking ypi!
A few lines later, starting with:
Code:
[21:41] OpenersHep: So, youâll listen? If I tell you my name?
all of the apostrophes display as "â" and what I'm guessing are dashes display as "â¦".
What this means, I don't know...I think I'm overanalyzing this. End EDIT2.
So.. either this is all very sloppy work by PMs or this is faked.

I don't think this file really exists.
You can't open the /admin directory without a password at all, so likely it doesn't necessarily exist without hacking the site.

I noticed the weird IM times too, not sure what it means.
If you look at the document cancelling the contract:
http://www.letyourcompassguideyou.com/usr/pthompso/mail/memo2.png
it clearly says "Due to the recent events in [redacted]"...where did we decide this probably was - Zambia?
Leaving office now, good luck all.

I agree - you can type anything after /admin and it will prompt you for a password so I think this may well indeed be a read herring.

Something else: It's been noticed that the initials "WTK" now appear on the lycgy compass image. Is this new?
EDIT: apparently WTK is also the name of the shadowy video posted on YouTube (here ) apologizing for defaming DJDan. Is this supposed to be our new friend William T. Kilpatrick aka "wtkFleet35"?
Anyway, the initials are on the bottom left underneath the shadowy image of "Persephone" How do I know that's Persephone? Well some clever person a while back found the original source image that you can barely make out on the lycgy page, but I can't track down the post right now, so here's the image again:

I think the fact that she was so reluctant to reveal her name means that it most likely is her. If someone were trying to frame her they wouldve come right out and said it. This definitely adds more fuel to the fire that she is persephone, especially witht the screen name being an anagram. So far both their back stories lineup. Has anyone managed to contact her on aim yet.
The persephone image is totally more visible now. Brilliant catch to the person who originally found it, I think it was Oli.
update. In his weekly roundup the speaker talks about how the lost ninja insists rachel is persephone but the speaker says hes not convinced yet, but she might be.
