The voice sounds like it's in reverse, if anyone can pull the flash apart and run that through a reverse-o-matic, maybe it'll sound better.

Otherwise, it sounds like "Help, help. Somebody help. Please help"?

Not quite, now that it just came back on loop. It definitely sounds like something backwards.

here an explanation of the audio on p's site. let me preface by saying that ive been listening to shortwave radio for pretty close to 40 years, so i have a good idea what ime talking about. Smile

what you're hearing is what they call a "numbers station". here is a link to a wikipedia article about them:

numbers transmissions are often preceded by tones or musical sounds to let the receivers know they are on air and to be ready to copy the message. thats exactly what were hearing on p's site.
the voice is reading numbers, backwards.

I just noticed this and it's probably nothing but I noticed that the title on rachels blog is -
As you noted above Persephones new title is --
Previously i dont think persephone's had any titles but then again it was only pictures or text and not video before.

Days ago I took some screen-shots of the SWF and made them a little more visible just to have a look at. I wasn't going to bother posting them, but I've decided I might as well since there has been some discussion in recent days about whether Persephone=Rachel.

Of course, there is no actual evidence to suggest that the female in the images is actually Persephone, but it could be: it is the visual that accompanies her Number Station swf and it doesn't look like anyone else I can remember. Either way, even though the images are distorted I think it's pretty conclusively not Rachel Blake.
