[UPDATE] stophanso.rachelblake.com - Copenhagen Post 07

Copenhagen Post 7

I woke up this morning - in an unspecified new hotel - to find a bundle of info posted in the comments section. I've been lagging, I admit (a brush with death will do that), but I've finally caught up with all your theories.

And, you know what? I think I spoke too soon on Friday. Linmoo, you must sleep less than I do... those maps I caught on camera WERE from Lake Superior!!! My hat is off to all those who contributed to this incredible bit of sleuthing.

However... and I'm not doubting you guys... it's just... this doesn't seem to make sense! I KNOW what I saw - I keep replaying it over in my mind's eye - Mittelwerk grabbed my arm. I looked down and saw another map of an island near the zero degree latitude line. My lapel-cam didn't catch it, but, that IS the equator, isn't it?

And what about those shipping lanes?

Mittelwerk MUST be looking at multiple islands. But, for what? One step forward, two back. The same questions remain. Keep those comments coming.

Now, speaking of comments...

As many of you have probably noticed, GidgetGirl is back. If you don't remember, she's the one that blasted me for posting those photos of Hugh McIntyre and his mistress.

But despite that, GidgetGirl's got a heart and a conscience.

This intel is solid - so solid that, true to my word, I've already taken down those photos.

And, in the hopes that this intel is tip-of-the-iceberg, I'm also gonna go the extra step (I hope you're reading this GidgetGirl!) of giving her contributor privileges. I'll be sending you the admin info, GidgetGirl.

But, enough about that. Here's the post:

Rachel, I have two pieces of information to share. I realize now, having watched yesterday's video, that you're literally putting your life on the line for this. And though you know I'm not a huge fan of your methods, I respect what you're trying to do. (Though, I still wish I knew why.)

I know you're a skeptic, but I assure you, I'm in a position to share things that nobody else knows about The Hanso Foundation.

Your "friend," Thomas Werner Mittelwerk, has flown to Iceland. He's cleaning up a mess involving one of the mental health institutes sponsored by the Hanso Mental Health Appeal.

I intercepted this article - http://vikarticle.blogspot.com/ - as it came over the AP Wire the day of your last post. Read it, and I'm certain you'll be convinced.

Coincidence? I think not. A bunch of you guessed it - this has to be the "Institute" situation my uninvited hotel room guest was talking about with Mittelwerk.

So, was this renowned mathematician, Vigi Benoffski, really visiting a patient at the Vik Institute at 3am??? Or was he there for another reason?

What about the others? Were they with him? Patients? Visitors? Something else? I did a search on those names, and let me tell you... those three sure ain't from Iceland.

If you remember Armand Zander's letter to Mittelwerk - the one Persephone posted on the hacked Hanso Foundation website - it mentioned an inaccessible third basement level of the Vik Institute.

And from the AP article, it looked like Zander knew way more than he was willing to say.

WHAT IS GOING ON?

Looks like we're heading to Iceland.

Maybe her permanent residence is in New York...

She is only visiting Europe. It says so on her "My European Holiday" website.

Its had moved to NYC for a couple days now, I dont remember if its been there since the beginning but its been there at least 2 days.

At least shes finally acknowledging that the island in the picture has been found. Too bad it probably doesnt matter cause we didn't get to see the picture of the equator island.

I looked up the names of the people in the newspaper article. Nothing comes up for janos backh or vikram sahani. Only thing I found of relatively small interest was a Nazim (not orhan) Hikmet Ran who was a poet, kinda fits the lost naming pattern of naming characters after writers. http://www.nazimhikmetran.com/

The point about this just seemed to be that they each had distinctive non-Icelandic nationalities:

Vigi Benoffski = Polish(?)
Janos Backh = Hungarian
Orhan Hikmet Ran = Turkish
Vikram Sahani = Indian

So the question is: what were these people (including at least one renowned mathematician) doing in the basement of the Vik Institute?

Playing Simon(tm), one supposes...

That was me. And I've only ever seen the name spelled as Benofski, but there are spelling variants all over the world.

Mittelwerk's Interest In Shipping Lanes

This is my first post here, and I apologize if you've seen me post this in other places. I think it's important for everyone to see this article, which may well explain Mittelwerk's interest in shipping lanes.

Mittlewerk is planning a trip for 2 weeks from now, the artic shipping lanes opening up enough for travel is still 20-50 years away. Not that this issue isnt important in real life though, its going to drastically change the climate of the whole planet, hopefully ill be long dead by then.

Not to be picky, but the post is titled "Copenhagen Post 7" not "07". Probably a slip-up on Rachel's part. Very Happy

Ok, so first there were no distinguishing marks on the super sekrit Google Earth maps that Mittlwerk was carrying and NOW there a zero degree latitude line? come on.

Now there are not all THAT many islands that are on the equator but not seeing a map or a better discription than "Island somewhere on the equator" dosent really help.

After their first plan of the island being figured out, I doubt they'll show us another picture that we can debunk. T think we just need to trust in the game a little more.

'trust the game'??

Rachel herself was begging us to help her with the maps. And I quote:

Rachel Blake's blog/Copenhagen Post 05 wrote:

Now, I know it looks like just a piece of coastline. But I saw a LOT more than my camera did. I'm pretty sure those maps were all of the same place - and, it was an island. Looked to me like it was near the equator. If you can, help me identify it. This could be the key to unravelling Mittelwerk's plan.

Now, I guess she's covering her assets with the claim that she saw a LOT more than the camera, but if they didn't mean for us to identify the maps (which at that point were "all of the same place"), then why ask us for help??

N.B.: We've gone from 'finding out what happened to Alvar Hanso' to 'unravelling Mittlewerk's plan.' Seems like mission creep to me...

I'm guessing that figuring out what Mittelwerk is up to leads to Alvar Hanso.

Did she mention something in her video about this, too?
