I have a strong suspicion that Gidget Girl is Persephone. I've had this feeling every since Matt brought up the possibility, and every instance involving her seems to confirm this suspicion. If only we could actually hear Gidget Girl speak.

Nope. Rachel Blake is Persephone. She's said it herself and doesn't have sufficient reason to lie about it. Saying she's Persephone when she isn't would only make her a bigger target than she already is. She says on her blog that she didn't admit it when she was in Copenhagen, Denmark, because she'd been hacking a website (THF) that's based in Denmark.

IMO, Gigetgirl is the blonde who was last seen in the photos of Hugh McIntyre previously posted by Rachel on her blog. Gigetgirl really wanted them taken down, and after she proved to Persephone that she could provide some real info and assistance, Persephone complied. I think Gigetgirl is able to get inside information about the Hanso Foundation because she's sleeping with McIntyre and is working for the Global Health Consortium. (That's what the woman's badge in the pictures said, isn't it?)

Ignoring the whole RB = Persphone thing...why would GidgetGirl be THAT upset over getting the photos down? They've already been seen by quite a number. So why keep feeding info that could get your boyfriend in some major major trouble?

if the series is anything to go by, just cos someone says something does not make it the truth. perhaps she is saying she is persephone to take some suspicion and heat off the real deal, whos compromisation could mean disappearing. If hanzo think rachel is persephone, they wont look at gidget girl as closely .

Previously we saw pics of Hugh with a brunette wearing glasses. Then we saw pics of him with a blonde. Does anyone think this is the same girl wearing different wigs? If it's not the same girl, then it's likely he likes to trade in his old model for a new one fairly frequently, in which case the latest girl might get a bit upset with him if she thought she was going to be tossed aside pretty soon. That's one possibility.

Another possibility is that Gigetgirl, if she is the latest mistress, has a conscience and has decided she needs to let the world know what evil deeds the Hanso Foundation has been doing. If she works for the Global Welfare Consortium, as one of the pictures leads us to believe, then spilling the beans on the Hanso Foundation isn't dictrectly hurting her own organization, just her (soon to be ex-?) boyfriend's organization.

My guess is that given how closely the mistress is tied to Hugh McIntyre and if Gigetgirl is indeed this mistress, she will likely turn up dead before the end of the game. I don't think McIntyre is as Machievellian as Mitttlewerk, but if Gigetgirl clearly becomes a problem for the foundation, I think someone in the organization will get rid of her.

I'm with SpiralboundBook. Appearances alone don't tell us what Hugh sees in these women. Maybe the blonde provides more interesting conversation, more maturity, better info on whats going on in the Global Welfare Consortium, better skills in bed, or even particular tastes that Hugh likes sexually. (I'm probably just amusing myself with the idea and I know it has nothing to do with the game, but I like the idea that the blonde might be more Dominant than the brunette and Hugh likes that kind of thing.) (evil grin)

The old Hugh wasn't the same guy as the actor in the interview and the newer pics. I think the producers of the game got a new actor for the interview and just hoped we'd ignore the difference.

I'm not convinced of the validity of the Wikipedia article, and tend to think that the term "accurate," even the phrase "VERY accurate," is a relative term. There still could be errors that "The Speaker" would have no way of knowing about. Maybe GidgetGirl really does know something the rest of us don't. If so you wonder where she got her info, but even Rachel made it a point to explain that the girl is hooked up when it comes to THF. At this point in time I'm open to the possibility that Enzo could have been born in either place.
