i just watched the ytmnd thingy agian to see if i missed anything and i noticed that it circled something and said it was related to scientology i was wondering if any one has looked into that im gunna check it out for myself ill post anything of interest

I had a look at that bar on the page - it looks like a progression bar to me. Print screen and a shufty at the image shows that it's 300 px wide, 2 pixels on either side for the border, making the bar 296px, and there are 4 pixels remaining until the bar reaches the far side. Assuming a linear progression, I put the time remaining into a calculation (15 hours for the sake of approximation) and came up with a starting time of 46.25 days ago (1110 hours). It's also possible each day is represented by four pixels, at which point the timer started 74 days ago.

Dunno if there's any relevance, just that nobody appears to have looked at the bar at all.

Do any of you guess remeber about 4-5 years ago Google put up these banners in citys and they had a chunk of code on them and every one was curious of what they where and the poeple who eventualy decyphered them ended up at this google thingy on the internet or something liek that i was thinking that maybe this was the same type of thing for a different corp/company becuase there seems to be alot of code and people trying ot fugure out what it all means and the count down is when the 'contest' end and the poeple wh ofigured the code out will know what to do and where to go to do it

The WarGames thing just jogged my memory; it's possible it's a viral ad for Defcon. Such a cryptic method of announcement seems in character for Introversion, especially since Uplink and Darwinia themselves have been somewhat of an ARG - I haven't played Darwinia, but Uplink especially is very good at it and is portrayed as if such an event is actually happening and you really are watching things in real life from your own computer. Defcon is meant to be released this year - Introversion's site said April, which has obviously come and gone, and Wikipedia says fourth quarter, but it's possible they're releasing it early like this.

This "The Beast Will Awaken" stuff doesn't seem to fit in though.
