Is there any chance of getting a look at the back of the card too?
Please? Ta!

Of course he won't show us the back of the card. It has where the darn thing is located on it!

Hey now give ramdomkevlar his 15 minutes of fame. If it was worth leaderboard points you be all over it like a fat girl on chocolate. Congrats randomkevlar, it's good for bragging rights.
Brian, I think that perhaps you're being a little unfair...Ollie wasn't knocking Randomkevlar at all, merely expressing a heartfelt wish to own something which is clearly rather unique - and I'm willing to bet cold hard cash that a lot of people who saw this thought much the same.
As for the leaderboard...Ollie is more than capable of defending himself and fighting his corner - but really, I thought that everyone out there by now realised that, well, the bragging, posturing, interviews, OK13DTFC...
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
it's not serious . Ollie has essentially become something of a caricature of himself...At one stage, I never thought that I'd find myself saying something like this, but he genuinely *is* being very tongue-in-cheek with it all, and a lot of the criticism that he's had of late has been rather unnecessary. Of course, he himself will deny all of this entirely, and everyone can feel free to go back to painting him as the evil villain in all of this.
As for the card/prize. Me? Personal opinion? "Hrm."
Lets just leave it at that.
J

Excuse the tone. My apologies rough day at work. {edit overly whiney post}

I wish that there were a few dozen copies of that card, so that all the video entrants could have received one, but then I suppose it wouldn't be quite so rare...
Plus I have to ask, does the code resemble latitude/longitude co-ordinates at all?

FWIW - mine arrived today - exactly as described above (bag, t-shirt in medium which accentuates my moobs wonderfully and two card packs).. the great news is that I got a silver in the cards packs
Thanks for the freebies MC, glad the honourable mentions got something nice ...

Yup, I got one of the #257 cards too. It was in a little envelope that said the following on the front:
Quote:
Hey (Seej's real name),
Thanks so much for your wonderful entry
into our Video Competition! We loved it,
and as you're a Mind Candy Honourable
Mention, please find enclosed the rarest -
and hardest, maybe - card we've yet
produced!
Best Regards + good luck,
Guy Parsons @ Mind Candy
At the top of the card, where the scratch-off silver stuff usually is, there was just the following:
325/333
I guess that means there's just 333 of these cards been printed. I can't find any extra info like odd letters that the first 333 got in those emails all the way back at the start of the game. I also guess that they're giving away these cards starting with the high numbers and working their way down, cos otherwise the rest of you have very little chance to get one if there's only 8 left!
Tried putting the number into the solve page at pxc.com but it wouldn't recognise it.
I'm confused by the message saying it's "the rarest - and hardest, maybe - card we've yet produced!" I can't see anything on there to solve, the solve page doesn't accept it, and where the cards normally tell you how many points they're worth this one just says:
Quote:
FIND THE REAL CUBE AND
WIN £100,000 / $200,000
Is it solveable, or should I stop scratching my head furiously and hope that the bleeding stops?
What number was yours randomkevlar?
SteveC - you were lucky to get two silvers. My packs had one of each colour up to purple from wave 3. Fortunately, they're all ones that I don't already have, though whether this is MC checking my solves or just conincidence I don't know, because I've not bought so many wave 3 packs.
EDIT: Here's a scan of the back, not that there's a whole lot of info there. The bits that look darker are actually glossy. Mmmmm, pretty....

Opened mine on my birthday together with lots of other shiny things.
I would just like to say thanks to Mind Candy for their generosity and let's hope there's even more in store for those who wish to participate. Cheers!
