On the topic of suggested questions... I'd quite like to know who the "houseguest" is. And also what the Z stands for.
Other lines of enquiry worth following might be to ask about the reports in the police records, to see if spirits are responsible in any way. And why so many spirits reside in Wylie House is another question playing on my mind.
Go to it people!

Okay what am I doing wrong? I solve the puzzle, I put the word in the box and hit the button. It says that it is not correct. I am positive that I have the right answers.
EDIT As Roseann Rosanna Dana would say "Nevermind". I got it to work.

Here is my question and the reply
why do spirits sometimes torment the living by playing pranks?
Quote:
Spirits never remain tied to the physical world without a very good reason. Unfortunately, that close tie is often some terrible pain the spirit feels. Like living men and women, they sometimes have no idea how to ease their pain, and they take out their frustrations on the people who live near where they left the mortal coil.

I got my response!
Quote:
I'm interested in your "spiritual advisors". How did they become... dead? Are there any interesting reasons that they haunt places?
I am sorry, but my personal interests are in the mysteries that lie beyond the veil, not how they got there. We are all part of the great cycle of life. We will all die someday. However, there is no "bad" knowledge, and I encourage you to look into their deaths if you can. Perhaps you will learn something to your interest.
I have noticed that spirits that remain this close to the veil often complain about things that happened in their mortal lives. Perhaps they stay because they are unhappy, though the ghosts who stay at the Wylie house seem content on the whole.

I asked:
Did you know any of your spiritual advisors personally when they were still mortals?
I'm afraid I did not. Most of these spirits had departed the physical plane years before I bought the Wylie house. I would have loved to have known them before that, but we have a long time to get to know them.
A bit disappointing, I must admit... but I suppose it was predictable.

Here's mine.

How did you convince these spirits to help you?
Ahhh... you ask excellent questions. As it so happens, most of the spirits were already in or around the house in Bay Horse. I merely asked them if they would help me, and they said yes! Mr. Emerson needed a little persuasion... but in the end they all want to help the living.

My question was the same one asked by Westwood Studios when they were working on Command & Conquer: Red Alert :
"What would the world be like if Adolf Hitler had died before he could become the leader of Germany?"
(Westwood's answer: "World War II would have been fought not between the Allies and the Axis, but the Allies and the USSR.")

My question/answer
Quote:
What should I ask you about if I get a chance at another question?
Quote:
I think you should ask me about my time away from Bay Horse. There is a very valuable lesson there in why we should connect to the wisdom of the spirits.

Where are these answers going, are they being emailed to us or showing up in the conversation log on PFF? I asked my question a couple of days ago but no answer yet.
Edit: I just noticed that the starting date has changed to the 11th on the SC site, guess we'll have to wait until tomorrow.

Well, your answer should show up on your conversation log with Madame Z on the PFF site. Perhaps when the site is updated tomorrow, you'll get your answer??
