Level 30 - The Stairs

Could I get a hint on how to do this? Been stuck here for quite some time now.

Thanks.

Level 30 The Stairs hint

This one is easiest with a Wikipedia search. Check out the dracula section.

Let me know if you need more help.

Level 41

I, personally, am now stuck on 41 Lauber Mansion, with all the dials.

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
What I've been doing is turning the ACTIVE dial however many times it says to TURN it and then reading the READ dial. I've tried clockwise, counter-clockwise, and even alternating one with the other and I keep getting gibberish. And, yes, I'm taking into consideration that one dial moving will turn the rest as well...

Any help? Or should I just persist with my little paper dials and all will make itself clear...?

Thanks.... ARG

And thanks to Fredo for the help on 24.... I was making it much too hard on myself. (What else is new...)

WingNutKati - sounds like you've grasped the principle but are failing in the execution somewhere, as such it's hard to offer much advice other than persevere! Sorry!

What should I be looking at? Could you point me in the right direction?

Thanks.

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
"A theatre" instead of "The theatre" would be a better clue. Research Dracula's creator.

Good luck, let me know if you need more help

Natas - which level is it you're stuck on currently? Level 9 doesn't require bag.zip unless I'm miscounting...

bodley mansion

natas,

If you the right software, you can superimpose the path on the map. I didn't have anything that sophisticated, so I just went back and forth...

PM me if you need more help. Smile

I'm currently stuck on 58...

Wingnutkati - The one after the relics?

Not too bad I didn't think - at least to grasp the principle anyway, I don't think I solved every element of the puzzle but got enough to guess the rest.

If you need any help then just ask but your post didn't smack of desperation and I don't like to spoon feed unnecessarily - takes the satisfaction of the solve away!
