I quit at #3. Once I understood what river was missing, and Wiki'd it, I knew the answer to the question it was asking. After trying various common-sense applications of the answer and getting told they were all wrong, I came here and peeked at a solution someone else posted, which was not part of the mythology I read at Wiki (2 years short).

So I entered it anyway and it was still wrong.
