[EMAIL #10] Cozumel

I hope you all too are now waiting (again) for the next clue - to enter cozumel. I wonder if the puzzles will be getting easier like this? If so, I may need to renew my passport! Any ideas for this Cozumeal place?

Can you tell me what card you used for the 9th clue, One arm ....., I can get the answer myself but I am not sure what card to use.

Two directions from here?

Follow the lodestone
or follow the grave
position yourself for falsehood and ruin
for once the impenetrable forces unfurl
shall you embark
upon the top of the world

Cape horn was easy enough. Took me watching it like 3 times to verify my answer before i entered it... I hate that "wrong coordinates" page...

Can't wait til July 3rd to find out what the Beautiful Island of Cozumel has in store for us!

I do have to say, this clue was by far easier than the last...or maybe we're all just getting smarter... hehe.

Lots of fun

Hi everyone, been playing along, first time posting. I must say, being able to come here has been great, to just check to see where everyone was at or for when I overcomplicate things (IMaT had too many red herrings for me).

I'm kind of curious about Cozumel... I wonder if this is going to be super short like the last few have, or if maybe this one will go through TWO pages?? Wink

Well, according to the Rules of the contest, there are 15 puzzles and the last date to register is July 11th or 12th (there are two final dates listed in the Rules). That implies to me that the last puzzle or puzzles will be given out on the 11th or 12th.

So far, we have had a puzzle (or series of puzzles), reach a stop point, and then have to wait 4 or 5 days. The question is what counts as a puzzle?

June 12th (Start of Contest)
- Port Royal: Dice Clue (is this a puzzle?)
- Port Royal: Find Bermuda (is this a puzzle?)
- Sargasso Sea: Click on the Floating Bottle (is this a puzzle?)
- Bermuda: Wine Bottle Puzzle
- Madeira: Story Puzzle
- Tropic of Cancer: Plate Puzzle

June 16th
- St. Helena: Ladder Puzzle
- Ile Sainte Marie: Jungle Tree Puzzle

June 21st
- Pulau Jong: Vase Puzzle
- Diomede Island: Star Puzzle

June 26th
- Isla Mas a Tierras: "Stuff" Puzzle

June 30th
- Cape Horn: Flashing Light Puzzle

July 3rd
- Cozumel: ???

I think we can all agree that the puzzles from Bermuda onward count as puzzles. That means we have at least 10 puzzles (including Cozumel). We could have up to 13 puzzles, if the two Port Royal puzzles are counted separately and Sargasso Sea is its own puzzle. For some odd reason, I think they are.

As such, I suspect that we'll have Cozumel as a single stop puzzle, wait for the 7th or 8th, have another single stop, and then the 11th or 12th as the last stop.

Maybe they typed in random co-ordinates in the address bar, or maybe it's a fraud. There seem to have been a lot of red herrings posted in this forum regarding this campaign. I googled the destination
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Isla de tontos
but didn't find anything, so dunno!

There are letters/numbers painted on the wall near the larger emblems (like the W only smaller), however I haven't hit on the final arrangement cuz I am missing two numbers......

Grrr!

Confused

Hello there everyone

Hello there everyone, I just thought that I might check the web site and it appears to be up. (Japan site). I have gotten the keyword and am working on the riddle, but no success yet. Does anyone have an idea?
