[PFF] July 7th, Game Launch! So it looks as though our little adventure begins today. KH (interesting name, that...) is to head over to the House to bring the services up.
Apparantly, the servers keep getting unplugged. Madame Z has some issues with KH (not surprising), and there's a quiz up. I took it and got a picture of Jasmine (derived from the graphic titile), but nothing else. I'm wondering if there should be more...
Thoughts?

I took the quiz and got Nickolas as my advisor...
I remember when KH's blog was up during the pregame when the "site was down". I left a comment on his blog and sent him an email but no response...

I've been playing around with the quiz, however my honest answers gave me the Duchess.
Have to admit I was hoping for a bit more in the pre-game, but still looking forward to the game proper.

Indeedy. The batch processor was a good idea, but the execution left something to be desired.

The poem reference is to Shelly's _Ozymandias_.
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
What I only found out today is that Ozymandias is another name for Ramses II. 'ozymandias' and 'ramsesii' are the username and password for the Case Notes page at antonjeffries.com.

Comments from the peanut gallery (good solve, btw, carlwebb ... couldn't figure out the pw):
threat.jpg: How mean of the ghost(s). I mean, now you need to wash all those bowls and silverware. Seriously, couldn't you have used dust bunnies or something easy to vacuum up?
july 7.txt: Is it me or does Anton sound like a cross between Mike Hammer and the Scooby gang? * e_nygma hopefully waits for a "jinkies" followed by a discussion of the dame that just blew in the door like a newspaper caught up in the drafts caused by the subway as it whipped through the station.

From the files in the case notes:
...and the only thing keeping the bills down were a bunch of dead soldiers.
Do we know what that is in reference to? Is that a red herring?

Probably is referring to empty beer bottles. If you have them all lined up in a row or scattered about, they can look like soldiers but they are no longer with us.
http://www.homebrewandbeer.com/deadmarine.html (apparently, in Australia, they are "dead marines")
I suspect this is just to make Anton sound very gritty and film noirish.
EDIT: Removed spoiler and spec tags and added descriptive link.

Man, I'm in the military and never heard the term. Pretty morbid if you ask me. But I agree that it was probably to add depth and noir to the character.
Thanks for the link!

when i saw anton jefferies's website I shot off an email to him... and i just got a response... not any new information... but here it is:

Beta testers, eh? Well, all right. I'll look you up if I need anything,
after I get there on Monday and let these "ghosts" flap their gums.

Woah, did that broad tell the whole world about her problems? Rhatz! This
here's a quiet business, see? I don't know who did what yet. Do you live
in Bay Horse? Did you see anything that happened there? If so, maybe I
need to ask you some questions, not the other way around.
Or are you one of those fellas that Madame Z was helping out with her
computers, or what not? Maybe I could use your help, but I won't know for
sure until I get there.

Do you guys find it odd that the forks on threat.jpg are completely un-necessary to relay the message???
