If this was like other ARGs, I'd say it was a live event. But I doubt it. Firstly, we dont have Rachel's email to get onto the encrypted message, and secondly, it's extremely short notice.

Basically, I wouldnt book my seat on Eurostar anytime soon.

Also, can I just say that I think the phonecall puts to rest the Gidget=Persephone line of thought?

Correct me if I'm wrong, but did this reveal that it was GidgetGirl having the affair with McIntyre? Or was that already known? Or, actually, is that in the clip at all?

GidgetGirl: "[...] For me, I'm involved. The man I love, say what you will about him, he's involved. I can't get away, but you, Rachel, you have a choice."
Rachel: "Like you have a choice to fall in love with a married man?! [...]"

Seems conclusive to me. Seems like Rachel already knew though.

Rachel did know- back when GidgetGirl asked her to take down the photos, Rachel refused until GidgetGirl told her why and verified her identity. She then took the photos down and said she believed GG. So i think it's safe to assume that GG told Rachel she was having an affair. However- IS she the girl in the photos? I assume not- since Rachel keeps saying "how will I know who you are?"

You know, cheating on your wife is obviously despicable but Rachel seems particularly venomous about it. Consider that Peter Thompson basically got murderers out of jail and that Cheever and other Board members are convicted crooks and it makes you wonder why Rachel has so much venom for a guy cheating on his wife (McIntyre). Wanna bet this ties in to her unknown backstory and motivation?

Maybe Mittelwerk loved and left Rachel's mom back in the day or something...and he almost recognized her because of their uncanny resemblance! I still think TLE is heading for a -Luke, I am your father- type moment.

Ouch. Well, that line of reasoning was fun while it lasted Rolling Eyes But I still don't believe Rachel to be Persephone. I would rather favor a "Bad Twin" type theory...

Support for that theory? We have been arguing that their voices differ slightly, enough to be noticeable. Siblings have a tendency to intone words in the same manner, but with slight differences in pitch. Possible that the difference in voice we have noted is that of sister and sister?

Having visited Jedi Master Joop on Dagobah, Rachel Blake stands defeated in front of her arch nemesis, Thomas Mittlewerk
Mittelwerk: "Rachel, I am your father."
Rachel: "No! It can't be! That's impossible!"
Mittelwerk: "Look into your heart, you know it to be true! Together, we could rule the world, father and daughter!"
Rachel jumps off the top of the Widmore building to avoid being pulled into the dark side of the Force, but is saved when her arm catches a flag pole sticking out of the building
Suddenly, DJ Dan and his loyal sidekick, Tanya, sweep down in their Conspiracopter and save Rachel from certain death

You forgot about Alvar Hanso being encased in carbonite.

I was going with GidgetGirl. We don't know whose side Alvar's on yet.

Does that mean that Alvar is Lando Calrissian?

I was thinking that, but I don't think GidgetGirl or Rachel would trust him enough to accept his help. Maybe Valenzetti's Lando, and Alvar's like, Mara Jade or someone.

Well, if we're going new saga, then he's gotta be Palpatine. Y'know, the guy everyone trusts but is secretly DESTROYING THINGS FOR HIS OWN BENEFIT.
