sorry for the double post, but the size of the pic was bugging me, I'll edit it smaller when I get the chance. Anyways the answers is:
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
See their true selves
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
So I guess this whole part was about finding out what the spooks true personalities were. Nick & Jasmine aren't the loving couple they portray, the Duchess isn't and is old, Emerson was a mob boss, and the preacher...well I think we've a bit more to find out about him still.

i could use a nudge for this one:

it looks like it could be an anagram but theres so many letters and i couldn't really make anything out.
Me too - I looked through Carlwebb's hints and I think I am on the right track...
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
I put the letters into 3 groups depending on their orientation this gave me - SEGUNI, YLQBM and TFRAPW.
I then tried decrypting using a Cearar shift - didn't work and also Vigenere given Mr Emerson's predilection for these but have got nowhere.
Please give me a nudge as to whether I should persevere with olne of these or whether I am completely on the wrong track.
Cheers

Ah - I thought it might be just me - my email's playing up as well (ie I can't get to it!)
I suppose this is techology's way of telling me to get on with something else
.....paintstripping, ironing, clean the carpets, what shall it be?

Yay. 4 more connections I am having trouble with the Nickolas' keyboard puzzle. I tried an anagram with the 8 letters and got an answer but it isn't working. I'm not sure what i am doing wrong.

Here it is
I used all the missing letters and all the letters that repaced them for the anagram.

have you tried with just 4?
I'm still stuck with 3: name That Tune, Who Am I?, and one for the Duchess that says A Coddled Night's Whirr

Tesseract, did you ever get anywhere with the "coddled night's whirr" puzzle you were asking about? [EDIT: I see from your post of a few minutes ago that you haven't.] I haven't solved it, but did notice a few things:
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
The O is underlined.
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
It being a time lapse photo, all the stars are tracing out circles.
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
These made me wonder if there is some suggestion of rotation.
But mostly I'm just grasping at straws.

and you've tried the word you can get with the 8? Hmm, maybe it's the person you're after some great
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
romancer?
Carlwebb, noticed those too, but not got anywhere yet. I put the o down to the type of writing but it could be a clue..
I was thinking about rotation as whirr can be used as a word for that, but not got anything from it yet.
