[UPDATE] July 27 - Faith's Video Blog

Plus, Faith ran away in 2004 - even before Vix went on the internet. If we are looking for Faith's password, it'll probably have something to do with her interests in 2004 and not what tattoos Vix is inking in 2006.

Well, Community Login could mean that there's only one login and password for the entire school, so it might not have anything to do with Faith Arella specifically at all, but something related to the Bethlehem Conservatory in general.

Getting to work on analyzing it right away, I can see only two things in the background that strike my interest.

2. The words in the far upper left corner: Most of the sheet is cut off but here's what I see.

.....OVER
.....OF AGE
.....IRED
.....ID
.....TTOO

Maybe just a sign saying we don't give tattoos to kids, but who knows?

You made a nic point towards the School's username. I was thinking the same thing, usually it just says login.
Personally Yah I think the sign is just something like "you must be over the Age of 18 required to check for Id for Tattoos" or something to that line.

Wow I got Quoted from another Thread.... *woot*

I just found this forum and I must say the logic presented and the general information seems to be much more clearly usable and reliable.

I believe I will be spending more time in this forum now.

No offense to those here that are also on ocular efect, but some of those people just get caught up on random things and talk themselves in circles.

Smile Cheers

Not sure the words mean anything here but I'm more inclined the 2 T's in the last line are separated :

I think the letters could anagram to something interesting , but I leave that to the experts ... I like these :
"ROOT ID DR EVE TIE GOOF"
or "ROOT ID ROOT GIVE FEED"
user : 'root' / pass : 'feed' not working on BC though ... anyway there are so many !! Razz

ALSO note the symbol on faith's necklace :

It could very well mean that it's a login for the BC Community. As opposed to a private login for VIPs, there may be a community specifically for BC alumni, or even something specific to web-based members for more information, or discussion about classes and such. Who knows. But whatever it is, there's at least one login to find Smile

1. Although the artwork behind her looks very talented, none of those sheets strike me as obviously being her famous symbols. There's just standard flowers and animals. The only one that looks at all mysterious is the black and white one in the upper left, but it's certainly not a symbol.

If you're referring to the big smudgey looking one, yes it appears to be a smudged picture done digitally to the video, not actually on the paper in Faith's corner.

The smudge appears to be perfectly rectangular, and in a uniform direction. The upper edge has a black boundary, which typically happens in software programs when you smudge to close to the edge of an image, because there's no image outside the bounds of the image; so it uses a placeholder colour, in this case most likely black.

It may be possible to 'unsmudge' the blur, but given the size of the video and the lack of detail of anything within it, it's doubtful it would reveal anything significant.

On thing I am considering though is that her tattoos may be quite inspired by the symbols and glyphs she sees... the scorpions bare a striking resemblance to the flow of the symbols, looking at the tails and legs and such. She may be inspired in such a way that her artwork resembles the form of the glyphs; not specifically, but generally. An 'inspiration'.

Thanks, we try. Smile

In the defense of the Ocular Effect forums, however, I think they're getting a lot more traffic than we are, and it's easy to keep things orderly when the posting is slow. Wink

Did anyone else notice that the video entry shows up as having comments enabled? The other entries have comments off, but you can comment on the video one. Intentional, or just accidental oversight?

EDIT: D'oh! Posted that before I attempted to leave a comment. ^_^() Sorry.

Well, comments are closed. Maybe they intend to open them up for just a few minutes for another character to comment.
