As of now, there's still a 404 error when you click on the "site" link and a brand new forum (duh) at the "forum" link, with a post saying the puzzle was just for fun to set up the new home of the former eon8crack forum.

I'm gonna keep checking on that 404 for a while, but otherwise the horse is pretty dead and I won't bother beating it.

Wow. After reading both forums, I've come to the conclusion that I'm really, really confused. There seems to be a tragic backstory there involving a lot of hurt feelings. There also seems to be a lack of direction and, imho, maturity in the way things are being handled.

After looking at this post, where the administrator states that "AEON8 will launch and function as an ARG discussion forum" I don't think this topic is either news nor rumors anymore.

(Besides, ARG discussion forums are so 2002. )

In the general sense, I don't see anything wrong with having more than one ARG discussion forum. I think it would be awesome if there were 5 other communities as big as Unfiction is. That would mean that the area is burgeoning and large enough to warrant it. However, I think that that particular forum turned quite a few people off when they just grabbed the forum names and descriptions from UF at first.

Anyways, the project went under because everyone became busy and un-interested (hmm imagine that)!
