grumpyboy: yeah that would make sense since the rest of the word is in order. So the missing one probably begins with an E. Just a lucky accident for me it still worked out right.

Now to figure out this cipher....

Man, I leave for a second...you guys are really quick. The first font is Benquiat. I had only got through that and Edwardian before I got called away. You guys are champs.

/prods CVK to start work on the cipher

Ok so i can think of two people that famously burnt food:

King Alfred - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/King_Alfred

Thomas Farynor - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Great_Fire_of_London

Any famous chefs that are famous for fixing blackend dishes?

Is this a beaufort or vigenere cipher?

I'm trying to use a vigenere breaker but I'm having some trouble.

Ok tried CAJUN as key and get 'IKUTB XT' as the first few letters.. not promising... but a good guess

Muddy

Edit: I was trying Beaufort, solving Vigenere gives me 'WQ' as the first two letters with CAJUN as key. It's always possible it's a multi-cipher.
