we might have caught that filename when the php parser was choosing to displaying its content. the file itself may never have existed Razz heh
dunno. At this point it sounds like we've hit a mental block, again...

Cute, rhyming. When did it show up? I was checking between 6 and 6:30 GMT and getting nothing.

Edit: I forgot to say thanks for grabbing and posting the source. You're a doll!

garbled.php, time.php and thenextpage.php were are given to us from beefstew.html, and none are active any more. What's the pattern? Are we to find all the pages that are given to us through beefstew.html at the certain time each day?

From the update page:

Welcome operative, you are now receiving updates

You have completed the tests.

Well, it's about freakin' time!

Still no idea what the countdown is for, though...

Freshness, could you be more specific...

a) whats the full link as the page doesnt appear to work for me

b) where did you find the link

c) as these pages keep disappearing - What was on that page - and do you have a copy of it in your history

Sorry...I was in a bit of a rush earlier.

1) The page is down now, but the full link was http://www.landalan.org/tests/left.php

2) The page was found in the source of the beefstew.html page. Hidden in the source was "B R A L V C W B I U Q E S B G N T S U G L B V V Y E". Decoding with heberns as the key like we've been doing gave "T H E T I M E I S C L O S E V I S I T L E F T P H P". I checked the page around 6:05 GMT and it was up. I went back almost exactly an hour later and the page had already been taken down.

3) The page had the same ten countdown timers we've been seeing on all the other pages. Honestly, I saw the timers and was satisfied it was the same thing as usual, so I didn't really investigate the source code too deeply, and I didn't save any part of the page. I guess I don't know if it's the same as the others, but it was counting down to two days from now. Plus, the updates page says we've passed all the tests...so now I think we wait. My apologies if my lack of inspection sets us back a bit.

I think that's everything. Sorry I wasn't clearer earlier.

yup and left.php is back to no input file specified.

So it seems we have no leads, and no puzzles. just a timer to wait until 8pm EST Thursday.

Pages we've visited with the timers: (just in case it's relevent)

time.php
garbled.php
thenextpage.php
left.php

Damn it - I keep missing the beefstew updates for some reason. They never seem to be up when I check (unless the online site I am using isnt calculating GMT properly?).

Any word from John at TIG about that drop location in Portland anyone?

I'd send the email but its a bit far for me to travel to pick it up Razz

I'm in morocco and we got gmt (12h47 here now) if you're taking your time from a british website they add one hour for summer time , so it's actually gmt+1 in uk now .

Time in UK is now 1715 or 1615 GMT. So two hours from now should be visible.

a good site for gmt and unix timestamps http://www.4webhelp.net/us/timestamp.php
