I haven't gotten any word from John Q, but presumably there will be at some point soon, so we should try and figure out who we have in the area.

I'm about 3 hours away from Portland, but I do have a car and no job (so limited time constraints on when I couldn't go). Still, it'd probably be more efficient if there were someone in the city who could pick it up.

The beefstew page has changed. The text on the page now says "Bra lvcw bi wqdudp qkdf tv.jov" This translates to "The time is almost upon us.php".

http://www.landalan.org/tests/us.php

It's still timers.

The timer I'm seeing runs out in a day and a bit.

"A day and a bit" actually puts us at 1700 PST/2000 EST tomorrow...and 0000 GMT Sept. 1st. I have yet to find anything significant about Sept. 1st as might relate to our game, but at least it's a nice round number.

And it is the start of a weekend! It will be a 3-day holiday weekend for most people in the USA, too, as Monday the 4th is Labor Day.

May I respectfully suggest that when the countdown DOES finish, that someone take responsibility for creating a shiny new topic, all properly tagged and labeled and identified as such? And perhaps we can let the trailhead thread sink to the bottom (with or without a lock) assuming the game bursts forth with a wealth of content -- there shall be much rejoicing!

I'll be home from work about an hour before the timer is up, and will be hitting refresh like a madman. If there's a large update, is it time we got our own forum room?

Does anyone know which days we're missing and where? Perhaps the words are spelling something out for us, or belong to a phrase...?

time
garbled
thenextpage
left
us

Going back through the thread, Grumpy discovered 'garbled' on friday, early and 'time' came up at 1800 friday, then nothing until monday, 'thenextpage', tuesday 'left' , wednesday 'us'.
We could have missed the weekend but don't see it somehow.

I'm pretty sure we've missed a couple. It's a good thought, and maybe we can still piece something together... or maybe tonight we'll be given all of them.

There was nothing on the weekend. At least not at the usual time.

edit: also, since nobody else mentioned it, the latest timer 'us.php' did not disappear like the rest. But that probably corresponds to the change to beefstew.
only 5+ hours left

Hey guys, just learned about this whole ARG thing today. And for my first post:

The tag in between the plaintext in the source of Landalan.org reads:
"In the ages of democracy, and the endless files of a bloated government, much is looked over. Behind each closed door is a story to be told - every file leads somewhere."

I don't know if this has been changed from the original "There is more to this layout... (etc.)" that has already been mentioned. Perhaps there is a different one for each site (ie. Landalan.com, Landalan.org, Landalan.net)?

Food for thought, I might be completely wrong...

OMG less than an hour left and the numbers on the count down have turned red and the bg is black. I get the feeling we're missing something.
