[NEW][SITE] hansoexposed.com

I'm not sure where the trailhead for this begins, but I noticed a link being tossed around in Rachel's blog and at first I just rolled my eyes at the generic password verification, tried a few junk passwords to no avail, then clicked cancel to see what I could find in some directory sniffing.

First thing I did was put something unintelligible into the beginning of the site, for instance:

http://poopsmith.hansoexposed.com

And I was shocked to see what happened. Just like rachelblake.com, djdan.am, and all of the other in-game sites, I was redirected to thehansofoundation.org

A whois corroberates this redirection as well.

Now something else of note, is that this site (hansoexposed.com) has been nothing but a blank html document until today. Now it's asking for a username and password.

My two cents?

The username and password are somehow pulled out of all of the capitalized words in rachel's latest post. But I haven't the foggiest as to how.

And just when I thought we weren't going to see anything new today Foily!

For those who think the capitalized words may have a role in this, and I'm not looking too deep into a barrel without any fish in it, here's the wordlist:

Unless something ingame pointed you there, I don't see any need to start guessing passwords.

Right.

Just wait for it to come up in-game. It'll just make the game better and easier to follow.

Possible clues during the show tonight? (as some of the people on the linked thread also are speculating)

The UK site for Lost still has a female counterpart for our Speaker. There are some interesting things happening over there.

*Searches*

There are? You'll probably have to grab my hand and point with it. I don't see anything apart from a witty and uninforming update on our latest episode. Not that I mind. In fact, I find The Other Girl quite charming.

p.s. I'm glad my avatar is appealing to you Very Happy

I guess I should have been more clear, I was talking about the
http://www.hansoadoptions.org/ site. There are more updates to the fake sites than the real sites these days.

A few days ago, I noticed the Hanso adoption website. Since it is in the advertisement section when you google "hanso", it is quite obvious. On whois it did not have the same IP and when you type in a random word in front of the address, it does not redirect to the Hanso Foundation website. That is unlike almost everything else in the game. It could be something, but I think that it is probably a fake.

If it's not on the same server and the WHOIS information doesn't match, it's most likely OOG

Hanso Careers isn't on the same server as http://www.thehansofoundation.com, but it's still in game.

This is not META: You guys are getting bad advice.

There have been complaints here and elsewhere (this is NOT meta) that "the game" has degenerated into waiting around for Rachel to do something. Yet every time anyone shows a little initiative, one of your mods screams not to look in there, not to touch that, wait and see, go to sleep like good little children and wait until you are shown.

Unless you want to be content with what Rachel Blake, agenda unknown, wants you to see and know and think, you better start opening a few doors yourselves.

Since you're so smart, why don't you give us a suggestion?

BTW, the reason I use that tone is because I got an e-mail from someone saything ^the exact same thing. It's annoying, and they didn't respond to me.

[BUMP]

Bumping this to the top because www.hansoexposed.com is now up and running. Apparently Rachel mentioned it at Comic-Con...

It's kinda confusing, but at least it's something new for us to figure out!!
