Four corners framed in all that's blue

Yes I had already tried that and I get 1 tentacle pointing at the Round Pond and the other at the Witches Circle.....I am framed by 4 blue positions at this point. Still confused!

If you're writing up an official walkthrough, I'd recommend adding in the email clues and game hints. You've mentioned some, but not the detail of how to figure them out.

Thanks, tpublic. As of yet, I don't have a map (I haven't gotten out to a Volvo dealership as it's a bit of a haul for me). As such, I have not registered in the system so I had not received any of the email clues, other than the ones posted here.

As for making it an "official" walkthough, I'm not sure I'd call it that. I figured I would consolidate all the clues in one place so people could get as vague or specific clues as they want.

Your search for blue is overthought
Look close to words, else all's for naught
When found it is, place the card inside
After that, there's nowhere to hide

And in other news;
Clue #4 is not what you assume
If past St. Mary, it'll cause you to fume
Instead, look behind at what you've solved
If the answer you have, move on it's resolved

Four corners framed in all that's blue

I am amused by your reply it rhymes quite well or are you just being cryptic? Do I need to solve this even though I have already reached part 2? Thanks.

Theres nothing to be done there i was just being subtle & elusive.
When it comes to working out the island puzzles i'm like everyone else trying to solve them within game play.
Just wish the the 21st. would come around faster so we can play pulau jong.

St Mary

St Mary question:

I understand how the puzzle works. I got all the numbers, but there is only one that is not fitting. I have _ _ _ _ N and X _ _ _ E, where the X is the one that does not line up. It fits for the one following, but not the N. Anyone have issues matching the one after the N? If not, a little help perhaps? I know the pattern, but it doesn't fit! I tried entering to coordinates anyways, and it said no, so sorry, go back and try again. Perhaps lsiting the numbers (in random order), as I am having a hard time making out one of them?

st mary

it's true, the symbols for the first number of

xxxb don't match up. I had to guess at the number to make it work.

No, the symbols are fine. Remember they're "carved" onto circular tree-trunks so you won't always be seeing them straight on. And that particular tree trunk has the two symbols that are the hardest to identify correctly.

You might have to tweak your brightness/contrast settings to see them properly. Also viewing from different angles helps - so does squinting. But if you're still not sure you can see them properly, here's a quick picture of what they should look like:

At tentacles' ends, do glue both two

OK I give up! Will someone show me what an idiot I am and give me another clue to this. Is the answer necessary despite the fact I am already at round 2? I get the tentacles pointing at Circle and Round so am I in the right place?

No, the answer's not necessary. Don't beat yourself up, as you're not alone, but I don't think people are reading the email properly.

It says in really plain English, right under the riddle in the email that this will help you solve the tree problem on Madeira. The answer to the beardy card clue won't help you on Pulau Jong before the 21st - when we all get there, we all have to wait until tomorrow.

Easy to miss that paragraph in the email though. I only realised it wasn't helpful when I saw the words the beard pointed to and went back and re-read the black text in the email. Hope that helps clear things up.
