I nominate that there is no gap between 7ti and 3zgt. I think the sound is just wonky and a word got swallowed in a cut, and so this whole five-clip segment [including the bits that are hard to hear] would read:
"In a few weeks, after your induction, counselling, and survival training, you and your colleagues will be shipped to a top-secret facil[ity.] The precise location of the facility is known only to myself, the DeGroots, [and a] few high-ranking members of my organization. Why all the security? All the secrecy? The answer is simple"

I'll admit - I did actually consider that possibility, but the lack of fluidity between clips in the player (and my particular login's... I dunno, bugginess with regards to video playback, since at least three of the clips don't appear in the "View" tab, ever, no matter what I do, and they won't let me reload them) makes it hard to figure out whether it's a blip or not.

But putting it together, I dig, man, I dig. Smile

Also, RPGame, would it be a good idea to break the full 70-piece list into subsections, like "Orientation Video," as had been suggested earlier? We don't know where in the full thing the OV takes place, but since almost all of our clips have already shown up for that part, we should probably start putting the larger fragments into some sort of reliable order in the FAQ in hopes of knowing easier where each piece goes. Yes?

I have a suggestion. I agree that the Mittelwerk video flanks the orientation film, and I think I know how it does so:

I believe that the shots of Mittelwerk filmed through a hole in what appears to be a box, those shots come before the orientation film.

The shots of Mittelwerk filmed from between two boxes, those come after the film. If you will notice in fragment ig3x, the camera pulls away from the video to focus on Mittelwerk -- and he's being filmed from between two boxes.

okay, the latest clip, #26 e82kni8l quite clearly leads directly into 3gtvi0m11

e82kni8l --> 3gtvi0m11 100% "dharma is an acronym..." "it also stands for the one true way..."

I haven't seen the clip but there could be a bit in the middle.

Dharma is an acronym. It stands for blah blah blah. It also stands for the one true way.[/i]

90vdhohu --> 7hkbh

100%. (even though the audio doesn't overlap--it shows the end of one sentence and the beginning of another--the first and last visual frames match absolutely perfectly.)

*sigh*

So I finally got round to entering all 28 codes. But the site is wayyy too buggy for me to rearrange the clips. Every few clips I move turn orange and say undefined. I have to reload the whole page.

Talk about frustrating. I don't know if I can be bothered to login again and try to fix it.

don't give up, RPGgame! what matt is doing is very useful, yes, but we also need to preserve the community feel to compiling the clips.

oh, unless you mean "give up" in the sense of ordering the clips on hanso exposed... Smile don't blame you on that one!

Latest has been updated.
Please check [url] http://forums.unfiction.com/forums/viewtopic.php?p=260039#2600391st post[/url] for any problems.

also so far I have the following listed as Orientation clips

Orientation Video
Code:

001 - ohge
-
-
-
002 - fvh7n
003 - ig3x - {end of orientation section}

if someone can look through them quickly and make a quick list of which ones are orientation clips.

P.S thanks everyone for bolding the code numbers.

Mittlewerk lecture linkage:

vou8vpnps5x --> vdados7yre0

"So now, we have to take radical action, and I just want to tell all of you that I trust you to do what is best."

Once again, linking the clips by what is said isn't the easiest, but if you look above Mittlewerk's shoulder at the end of the first and start of the next clip you'll notice an anomalous little yellow fuzz--presumably caused by some sort of reflection on the video lens--which indicates the direct continuity.[/b]
