Still need a scan here...
(just remember This forum's limit: 300x450 pixels.
MindCandy has changed their scanning guidelines: http://www.mindcandydesign.com/clients/index.html No high-resolution scanning will be allowed AT ALL - no enlargements, no blow-ups of smaller areas, nada.)

Some hints on this one...No solves below, but strong shoves in the right direction.
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
1. Rotation is key.
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
2. It's easier to align when you look at the negative than the positive.
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
3. When you've got the right side lined up, zoom way out and see what you see. The answer will amaze you.

Sure....I don't want to hoard the solve, but neither do I want to spoil for those working on it. Hints still this time, and if there's further confusion we'll see about spoiling. (Or PM me if you really want one early, I guess.)
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
You're going to need photoshop or GIMP2 or similar here to align the dots properly. GIMP2 is free... 50% transparency on the layers helps.
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Once you've got them all overlayed, you'll note that the dots don't follow a regluar grid, but there's some spacing to the white space between the groups of dots.
Big hints here...you were warned.
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Brown start out aligned properly. The remainder do not. The hidden UV letters are a meta puzzle, unrelated (as far as I can tell) to the solution.

Ok, I've gotten quite a few PM's on this one asking about the PSD that I used. You can find it at:
http://www.aubereanjourney.com/156.psd (Danger! 22 MB file ahead!)
(Spoiler warning)
The layers are separated and oriented, so this is very close to a solution.
If you're just looking to see the answer, try:
http://www.aubereanjourney.com/156.jpg
Zoom out on it and you should be amazed.

But what does it mean
Spent the day at work with my coloured ohp pens and ohp transparencies transposing the sequences. Ended up with the same result as Charin but still none the wiser. Entered what I saw on PXC but incorrect. This is really annoying me and I am sick of dots

Amazingly, I can't get the first several letters from your jpg. And I'm not so sure about the last one either. Not an english word?

RE: Not an English word Word makes no sense at all until you Google it and it all becomes clear.

The first several letters didn't become clear to me until we shrunk the view down to 10-25% or so, then it suddenly made sense. Another help might actually be to drop the blue and purple layers in photoshop. They complete the lines, but becasue of either the scale of the card or my scanner, they're not exactly the same dimensions, it seems.
Definitely not an English word.
Final answer for those who just want the solve points:

Now what about the hidden letters in the background of this card? Anyone working on that?

I'm glad there are people smarter than I am doing solves. I never would have figured this one out on my own.
