This is a great puzzle, and is giving my brain quite a workout!
I think I have a couple of them. But, in trying to figure out the rest, I have to ask... Are these 'universal' answers, meaning it wouldn't matter if we're in the US or the UK? I can't say much more without giving away too big of a hint. LOL

Aye - these are all "universal" answers, though I can say that Americans are at a disadvantage for one of them (You'll understand why when you find out the answer). Also, I'm going to extend the finishing date on this by a couple of days. People are having a much harder time with these than I expected ^^;

Well, as it turns out, my 2 answers were wrong (and I was so sure of one of them!), so it doesn't matter to me now if the answers are universal, or not. I'm back to square 1, and just as lost as when I first began. Thanks for the deadline extension!

I can't seem to get any of them. Have tried all ROTs for all five and can't see any patterns. I haven't got a clue what has to be done.

Yeah, ROTS don't look very promising so I took a different avenue, but it wasn't right. What are we missing?

I'm off to sleep for a while, but before I go, I will let you know that mmany of you may be doing the right thing, and not realized it. At least one person has at least three sequences correct. Keep at those simple ciphers - you're sure to crack one or more soon.

I'm still VERY confused, I hope we'll get some more hints.

Whoever wins the Comic Con cards, truly deserve them. I've tried ROTing all of the sequences and don't know what to look for, none of them make any sence in my eyes. Looks like I wont be getting the promo then.

grrr Aye I've tried ROTing all of them and I really don't see any patterns. Is this what he meant by most common cypher in ARGs? I figured Caesar Cyphers are the most common (rotations).
I tried a ton of stuff with integer sequence analysis. None of the sequences are recognized in the sequence database, so I'm thinking it has more to do with the meaning of letters rather than their alphanumerical value.
GR this one is really starting to bug me.

I sent a PM telling about my attempts with ROT and atbash and I got a reply saying that the cipher used was one of those.
The only one that looks like it could mean something is when you do a ROT-2 on the first one

A lot of you are on the right track, though you're overthinking the cipher. Look through your purples if you're stuck - sometimes even simple ciphers are used there.

I can't find a single cipher in the purple cards (although it may be in one or 2 that I don't understand).

Dito the only one that seems like it could be relevant is Vexilology which is sort of a cipher in ways. I tried looking at this puzzle in a similar context to no avail.
I've tried all possible ROTs with no answers really popping out to me at all and the same goes for atbash. I haven't tried a combination of the two at all yet.

Possible single sequence solve (or not) I have sent off my first entry which just contains one answer out of the five, and the more I think about it the more I think that the answer I got using my solve method may just have been a horrible coincidence, since I cannot get the same method to work on the other four sequences. Ah well, I will let you know more if it proves to have been correct.
If not I will quietly slink off to the naughty corner...
