[Website] Marzent.com

Aglauranj website updated this afternoon and showed us an article about the new municipal building.

Aglaura Newspaper Article

The builder was Marzent Company.

http://www.marzent.com/ is their website.
Bruce Abbott is the company spokesperson. Dale did the Marzent Company website.
Marzent Company is trying to get the contract for Phase 2 of the Aglaura Redevelopment Plan.

Notice the triangle logo from the trailer. The family crest from before is on one of the website pages. And a little of the same history of Don's roots. Nothing about any sons.

I'm gonna poke around Marzent first. Dale's talented... I'll say that. But whats he doing doing work for the Marzanos? Is he still indebted to them?

You can sign up for a Marzent company newsletter than will be goign out starting in June, via the about section or my link.

Finished browsing the site. Lots of interesting flavor stuff. Marzent the Big Company it is now (and it seems huge) grew out of the Construction company y'all knew before. Apparently it opened in 2004, aka after CTW, and after the Wish's last alterations to the fabric of the universe. So... they've been successful. I'm guessign all those investigations into their shady dealigns in Agluara never happened in the current timeframe.

Wait was The Don, Don Jr.?

Calling Marzant's toll free line gets a corporate greeting:

first pleasant female voice
<Thank you for calling the Marzant World Headquarters in Aglaura, New Jersey. Where we are Changing Tomorrow, Today! We are unable to take your call right now. So please leave a message after the tone.>

Standard phone greeting female voice < Record at the tone. You may hang up or press any key when you are finished.>

Beep

I'm thinking so. Its the only way the age of they guy in the picture matches up with the info given in the History section.

Its interestign how they have there finger in everything in Aglaura (and surrunding areas like Princeton, NJ)... from Klepsydra to Greatwater General.

I also find Bruce Abbot's promotion from site designer for Sons of Don and Empty Threats to "spokesman" (as located on the Feb 7th entry here) Thats quite a leap and spokesman sounds like a.. umm.. "Connected" position if you know what I mean.

What's up with the creepy red hue on the guy (Marzano?) when you click on the 'more info' link on the bottom right corner of the history page? Creepy red guy also pops up when you click on the 'read more about newsletter' on the about page.

On all the other pop up links he comes up with normal coloration.

Marzent Presents the Aglaura Phase 2 Redevelopment Plan to Aglaura Borough Council
Marzent proudly presented Phase 2 of its Aglaura Redevelopment Plan to the Aglaura Borough Council, at the monthly meeting held on January 17th, 2006. The plans include the continued relocation of the current residents in the old municipal area into the new municipal complex. The post office will be adjunct to the new municipal building, while the library will be digitized and exist wholly on computers in another part of the new complex.

On Dales Journal he has made a couple of comments about the Marzent's plans for the library.

Quote:
Like I said though, this was just the start of a series of things that forced my mood to change, no matter how hard I tried to remain miserable. Some of them I won't share here, since they involve either personal issues or situations with close friends of mine, but trust me when I say that enough good happened between January 1st and today that even the news about Marzent's proposed plans for the Library didn't upset or piss me off too badly. Right now it's just another challenge to deal with and, if handled right, will surely lead to some new opportunities.

The pages dealing with the new hospital building appear to have been reworked. There are details that seen out of place or missing in most of them. Some pages have extraneous dots on them in odd places. The planning page has some "issues" like where is blue suit's left leg or jacket? What about the invisible writing instrument the girl is using? I'm thinking there may be a code embedded in the "Details are the key" page also. As there is a definite direction indicated, It would seem there is a string of information as you move up the stairs.
The roofer in the last pic is tacking down the felt with roofing nails, but someone has photoshopped them to be colors other than silver. I thought 8-bit binary code at first, but can't get consistent letters out of it.

I think you're looking into it too much. I reckon blue suits left side is simply hidden by the person (?girl) on the right of the picture (blue suits left). I see what you mean about an 'invisible writing instrument' the person on the right looks as if they're holding, but I can't see what it can point to: probably just a badly posed photo!

And like Shelina, I can't find any extra dots - which pages do you reckon they're on?

Had another look at these pictures to see if I could get any further.

I think the 'definite direction indicated' is the usual plans indication of which way the stairs go, although they have added 'UP' just in case the builder can't read plans!

I agree that all roofing nails I've seen are silver coloured - but then, I'm not a roofer - anyone out there know for sure? They certainly seem to be nails in that they're holding down (distorting the edge of) the felting, they're not just photshopped on afterwards. And whats with the blue/white/black striped piles on the top? Builders usually seem to unwrap tiles before they take them onto the roof. It all points to a posed photo again, but I think just as info, not a clue.

Roofing nails are indeed silver.. the actual nails thgat go into the shingles. However, the nails that are used to hold the underpaper stuff down - which is what we're seeign here - also usually have little rubber discs around them that are, from my experience, usually red or green.

Those bags at the top are indeed shingles. Thats exactly where I always put them on Habitat builds... and I usually did not unwrap them before carrying them up. That made it easier to move them, because if they were unwrapped they'd be more prone to sliding around.

I did alot of roofing with Habitat for Humanity Smile

I think this is going to be our "flume ride" photos this time. In CTW1 there was a picture of an amusement park (one of those water log things) that seemed to be missing a major piece of the ride - so we spent hours gnashing our teeth and looking for clues. Led absolutely no where.

Re: Planning Project and the "missing pen" - I think that is just how the girl is holding her fingers.

Re: Details are the Key and the staircase. Looks to me that is is a two level stair case up to an atrium/garden. On the other hand, the title intrigues me. And that is the picture that is used to denote the section in the header.

Re: Roof Work. Nice butt shot? Maybe the colors are a code, maybe they are just real (and some company is using colored nail heads now). We could spend some time in Google images looking for a copyright-free image.

On the Planning page does anyone think the blured out part of the plan is important? Their might be some life altering information up there...anyone know how to correct it with Photoshop?
