Known by first name only

You can add:

Marilyn (Monroe) and Malcolm (X) to the list of wrong answers.

(apologies in advance if they are needed - I didn't know if I should spoilerise wrong answers or not - I chose the latter as they are wrong after all!)

For some reason when I look at the card Alan Turing comes to mind, he had a brilliant idea and overcame lots of resistance to crack the German enigma code. I haven't tried this because Alan just doesn't cut it as a viable answer to me.

I wondered how many people have written books entitled just "My Story" but for a silver that would be too easy.

Finally I was thinking about how many people are just known by their first name and possibly an initial. I can't think of many, Jesus (am sure someone's tried that already and said so in this forum), Malcolm X (wrong),

Talking of books

Spoiler (Rollover to View):

spoilered because I don't think these have been tried yet.

Adam (did he have a surname?) Eve, (did she?) Cain, Able, Moses and a whole host of other biblical characters, they are all known by their first names and I don't know of their surnames if indeed they have them?

Just tried Jordan for a laugh! Shocked

On closer inspection of the card, has anyone noticed that the values and units on the card are in a slightly faded black ink and the Ohm symbol is bolder. It seems thet they may have been printed slightly differently for a reason.

I know this is a little far fetched, but for the record and before anyone ruins their card, I have just connected the card to a circuit (as anode and cathode) and dunked it in a salt solution to see if the ink did anything. Ok, feel quite ashamed now.... Embarassed

Could the four logic gates in the centre of the odd speaker circuit represent someone who had logic at the "centre" of their story, eg Sherlock Holmes?
