Hear hear. Better to focus all those inquiring energies on Satoshi.

But how do we know "find me" is referring to the man? Why couldn't it be referring to the place, or the cube itself?

For me the best answer to that question is that Von's hint was his name, now I'm the first person to say that we should remember that Von's hint shouldn't be needed to solve the card, but why would it tell us his name if that wasn't helpful in some way.

Why? You're obviously not helpful with the "usefulness" of Von's hints.

We seem to be going around in circles now, people posting the same things. I didn't realise how frustrating it can get! Poor 13th Labour/Riemann/Shuffled people!

New to posting here and really frustrated by this card. But looking round the net I decided to key in "where is Satoshi?" and I found this...

Quote:
You-what the???ahh*the feathers are hurting you cause there sharp on the end and you cant use fire cause it could hurt satoshi*

When it finishes you are injured with mutiple wounds while some of the old wounds reopen as you start to fall you feel strong arms wrapped around you and you look up to see a blond hair man (krad fans-yeahhh)

You-who are you? and where is satoshi?

Blond hair man-my name is krad and satoshi is inside of me my fair hokuto(satoshi fan-nooo ryu-er*back away)

end for now MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYBODY

This probably doesn't help but you never know!!!

PS if anyone can explain to me how to sort out my avatar please pm me[/quote]

Fully expecting a fish for being a noob, but...

1) Is there any possibility the place could be Huis Ten Bosch, a famous dutch-themed park in Japan? I've not been there but apparently it's incredibly authentic.

2) Has anyone submitted the photo to Japanese uber-forums 2ch and futaba? I'm afraid I'm still learning Japanese and I'm nowhere near good enough to make such a post...

3) Nobody in my office recognised him. :/

It isn't my page, I just searched for any Satoshis in France. I don't have a Myspace, so I can't message him to inquire--it doesn't appear to be a very active profile though.

Managed to track down a resident of Kaysersberg who has a blog and e-mailed him, but he doesn't recognise Satoshi.

He did, however, confirm that it was Kaysersberg in the background.

Maybe we could prevail upon him to try and get something put in their local paper (I assume they have one) - I would have thought the town being the focus of an international effort to track down a single person must be newsworthy enough to interest the local press!

I am Japanese, you know.

I'm really liking the 2ch idea...they get millions of hits. AFAIK non-japanese posts are not welcomed too openly there. So tc, if you're still around, would you mind posting our photo, link and a short summary? Would probably help if we had the japanese translation of the website already set up, but I guess ixalon is still busy winning that trip... Smile

Thanks!

I've emailed 'webjapan' to consider featuring the billion2one website.

Found a few more Satoshis' all of them look different to 'ours'.
