[Water Set] Green #125 Karma Chameleon Once again, I will be putting up scans later if possible.
On the card is a grid of nine squares, each a different color and featuring a band logo and year. Above the grid is the simple question "Name These Albums". The grid is as follows (left-to-right, top-down) along with colors of the squares:
card text wrote:
Name These Albums
R.E.M. 1988 (green)
AC/DC 1980 (black)
Viard 2005 (silver)
The Beatles 1969 (yellow)
The Velvet Underground 1968 (white)
U2 1983 (red)
Mansun 1997 (brown or maybe it's supposed to be grey)
Elvis 1961 (blue)
Shed 7 1999 (gold)
Here is the solution (my best guess this far anyway):
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
REM 1988 = Green
AC/DC 1980 = Back in Black
Viard 2005 = The Silver City
The Beatles 1969 = Yellow Submarine
The Velvet Underground 1968 = White Light/White Heat
U2 1983 = Under a Blood Red Sky
Mansun 1997 = Attack of the Grey Lantern
Elvis 1961 = Blue Hawaii
Shed 7 1999 = Going for Gold
There are a couple that could be off but this is what I've found... I haven't had any of the following accepted, however:
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
green
back in black
the silver city
yellow submarine
white heat/white light
under a blood red sky
attack of the grey lantern
blue hawaii
going for gold
green
back in black
the silver city
yellow submarine
white heat white light
under a blood red sky
attack of the grey lantern
blue hawaii
going for gold
green
back in black
silver city
yellow submarine
white heat/white light
under a blood red sky
attack of the grey lantern
blue hawaii
going for gold
i think it's a problem with a combination of using a slash (/) and the word "the" in the silver city, but then again i could have one of the albums wrong.

According to the wiki...
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
The Shed 7 Album's full title was Going for Gold (Greatest Hits)
I agree your other answers but hasn't helped me come up with an acceptable solve!

D'oh, I had them the wrong way round too! my previous post is therefore irrelevant!

But the slash is part of the album title - I've got to wait till tomorrow now to enter it 'correctly' after finding out here what I was doing wrong.

Ferio - I think you'll need the English spelling of 'grey'.

Having the same problem with the answer.
Wiki on the other hand lists 'Something for Everybody as his 1961 released album and Blue Hawaii as a 1961 released Soundtrack.
If it wasn't for the confirmed solve above I would have put it in and considered it a trick question

Just after I finished this one saw each album has a colour in it and matches the background of the sqare on the card. Nice way to check if your right.

According to my sources, the Velvet Underground's album was released in October or November of 1967, not in '68.
Also, who/what is Viard? Neither Amazon US or UK lists anything. Nothing is found on any of my music sites.

There's a good reason for that. Reading here or here should help with that little query.
