Wave 4 Card Distribution

Hi all.

I finally received my pre-order Wave 4 Pure box from Firebox yesterday afternoon.

The make up of the 'business end' of the content of that box was:

0 Silver
10 Black (including 1 duplicate)
31 Purple (24 duplicates)

That is a ridiculously gouging distribution, and I have been involved with Trading Cards since Magic the Gathering Unlimited. It implies that (being generous and calling both Black and Silver equal rares) there are on average only 1 rare card per 21 cards.

I know of no other distribution that comes as close to screwing it's customers as that.

I mentionned in another post that I was a little unhappy with the 'physical' nature of the endgame - but I pointed out that my primary motivation was as a card collector and puzzle solver.

I now find that barring spending several hundred dollars on ebay to buy every single Silver for the set (assuming I can trade the one Black) even that is denied me.

Frankly, that sucks.

Big time.
