Ooooh, it really is not mind-numbingly difficult. I'm sure the solves will start coming in thick and fast now, but this is a lovely looking puzzle card, and a good chance to satisfyingly solve a silver card on your own.

My hints again will be thus :
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Look at the card horizontally, take note of what the text tells you, look at the clue on the solve page... And think about it!

I will be back if people are generally still having trouble on it!

Have fun!

Dom Smile

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
For those playing along without the card (me), what is the clue on the solve page?

"Please give the last name only"
And the answer box simply asks "Who?"

You just beat me too it. I think I have an idea now, but it doesn't really fit what I can see.

I hates it! I hates it!

I spent 3 days looking at this card and the answer tuns out to be the first thing I thought of and discounted as being to easy.

But, it's my second "top 10" solve, so I'm happy.

My solve isn't coming fast because I'm thick.

Are the multitude of short purple lines important?

No, they are red herrings, or possibly other scarlet marine life.

Aww Doublecross, don't be so hard on yourself! Smile

It's difficult to give any more hints on this one, without actually giving the answer away. As much as it is annoying (to myself on other cards too!) giving the game away also takes the fun away!

Oh yes I was going to say - the little lines *are* important, but in a rather cryptic way. If nobody gets this (it helps to be good at crosswords to see cryptic nonsense I guess) at the end, then I will explain.

A lot of you are doing better than you think Smile

Dom
