Faculty at NRU

I'm new to this, but it's fascinating. Anyway... (and if this is already known, then stop me before I type too much Smile )

I noticed the other day that the faculty at New River University for one of the departments (I don't remember which one...) all were named after NASA space centers and research facilities (Moffet, Ames, Stennis, Goddard, Marshall, etc.) Probably just used for the sake of populating the list, but...

NOW, however, I can no longer find these names on the website.

It also appears that there is something new (or perhaps I failed to notice it before) on the physics page. http://www.nru.us/physics.htm

BlackDog,

If you mean the text in the yellow box:
"The new physics research center is almost complete. Grand Opening invitations will be sent out. Please join the College of Physics' Chairman Dr. Kristoff Zeladzny as he opens the most advanced physics research center in the world. See you there!
"
That's been there from early on.

As for the faculty listing, the college of computer sciences is missing its list (and link). Can't remember whether this was always the case or not. Confused

Hate to dredge up an old thread but what the heck.

There is now a new message about the physics building. I noticed this a couple of days ago:

Final construction and delivery of research equipment has been put on hold. More information will be posted here and an official press release to follow. All invitations are still valid for the grand opening celebration when the building is complete.

I wonder what kind of equipment they're talking about?

As an aside, yesterday I sent an email asking how I could send a donation and get my name on one of the bricks! Smile

Not that this likely means anything, apart from the fact that the PMs are probably Alias fans, but most of the faculty names on the Physics page have Alias connections:

Jesse Abrams (J.J. Abrams, the creator)
Sydney (Bristow) Weisman (Kevin, plays Marshall)
Jack (Bristow) Lumbly (Carl, plays Dixon)
Marshall (Flinkman) Rifkin (Ron, plays Sloane)
Mikael (?) Anders (David, plays Sark)
