Guin/Fretty - I just got a solve using those accepted. You do need all the The's. (I tried #4 without, and it was wrong)

But I typed exactly the same as I said earlier and was locked.

That's what I got as well, have you tried cutting/pasting from your posted answers to make sure it's exactly the same?

Confirm correct as stated. There are just so many places to go wrong with typos and spellings, and I should know.
Anyone got anywhere with the ?Beale cipher. One of the books or the American Declaration of Independence would make most sense, if it's not the card itself.

Me and DarkHuman have been trying different texts and have had no success yet. We are going to try the da vinci code as a possible key.

I don't know what your problem can be. I just did the solve too - those are the correct titles and the correct last names. And I used the apostrophe. And I read them each again carefully before I hit the button.

Below is copied and pasted from what I just submitted and it was accepted. I had the same answer rejected multiple times yesterday and today. All I can suggest is to retype the answers. That is what worked for me.

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
the da vinci code - brown
henrietta's house - goudge
the count of monte cristo - dumas
the land of green ginger - langley
the little broomstick - stewart

Here's a list of what' is NOT the Beale.
Declaration of Independence
The decoded text of the Beale code #2.
THis card (#223), with and without the "in each...authors?" part.
the PXC tourist info guide.
The da Vinci code. (providing it truly "starts" with the info.)
Card #30's Gavyenn quote, gavyenn quotes from the wiki, and two other quotes from people that Rach (spug) pointed out to me.>all too small.

it's gotta have 152 words min in it (max # used in cipher).
and all this is providing that numbers in texts count as words.
i'm gonna go pull out my hair now.....(*so sure this will be the next in game web page or something...*)

hope it's not a ROT after all this too....

Have also tried beginning of chapter one of Treasure Island, a secret location book not mentioned on the card. Are there any other books like this that it could be perhaps? Think it would probably be in English, or there'd be problems knowing which translation to use (plus, I've already tried various bits from Count of Monte Cristo with no luck).

It doesn't work with the titles of the puzzle cards either.
