Guest Puzzle Architect: Andrea Gilbert
Card Symbol: 3 of Hearts
Solve this card and win: 50 points
Appears to have big letter parts in each corner

The linguini junction is a particularly tricky section in the notoriously large mimisan maze in Perplex City, which has over 15km of twisty passages.

Rules
1. Enter at the top.
2. You must keep going straight, except at a node where you must turn either left or right.
3. Reversing is not permitted.

If the aim is to get out and visit as few nodes as possible, what are the nodes that you don't visit, in alphabetical order? You have to visit some nodes more than once.

The answer appears to be:

DHLO

Is it me or is the picture of spaghetti rather than linguini? I thought linguini was flattened? A cloo? Or just what's in Andrea's cupboard?

I was hoping we were going to get some interesting anagram or maybe even the code letters of the thieves - C, K, Q & V - but there isn't even a V in the puzzle.

This is a black card so I was just expecting a bit more to the answer...

The most I can get is:

HOLD as an anagram

but that doesn't mean anything.... Sad

Is someone gonna slap a [SOLVED] on this??

Can someone please leave a solution as to how the answer was found? I can't find my way through this "maze".

Full solution

The easiest way to solve this is to:

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Work backwards from the end

Doing this gives you the following nodes:

In order from the end:

A C F P R N Q I E J M S U T K G J E B

The tricky part is going from S to U. It took me a while to not focus on the nodes right next to S.
