foolishly I put in the names of the stations as they appear on a tube map.
namely:
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
High Barnet, Canary Wharf, Elephant & Castle and King's Cross St Pancras..

it appears they were after how the stations are pronounced rather than written.. Doh!!

Rats! I hadn't noticed there was a third page on this subject & I just wasted three attempts.

For those who know the tube map, you might like a laugh, I tried the first one as 'Maida Vale' (maid of ale!)

Ha! I like your thinking, a much better answer than the "correct" one!

For us non British...

Could someone let us in on what Station A means. I tried google but I see nothing to connect A with the correct answer.

Thanks.

"Barnet" is London slang for "hair". If you Google for fancy dress parties with a Tube theme you can find a Flickr set in which someone looks very like Marge Simpson, with hair that nearly pokes a hole in the ceiling.

Apparently the title is also a clue to a tube station - has anyone got that one?

the two stations that stood out to me as 'bling bunny'

were
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
kingsbury and queensbury on a 'kind of rabbits live underground, treasure gets buried underground, if you had a lot of it you'd have a bling bunny..' type of thing
well, that was my train of thought... don't blame me - I don't get out much...

The only one I can get with any suggestion of rabbits for the title is
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
warren's treat
but it's pretty weak.

Incidentally Barnet is cockney rhyming slang for hair - Barnet fair -> hair.

hair could also be written as 'Hare' - a kind of big bunny... although I think thats reaching maybe too far...

List of Underground Stations

Being in Australia, I had to find a list of underground stations to solve this one. For those still wanting a reference -

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_London_Underground_stations

or for a map -

Despite the king's crown, I thought D might be Wapping since that's the only station without any of the letters from "lobster" in it. No, I'm not off my rocker -- see the first bullet under "Linguistic" on wikipedia http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/London_Underground_trivia!
