Great to meet everyone last night - my first live event / face to face trading - certainly beats trading by post!

I was in the motley group that hung on right to the end - a good night had by all, and somehow don't have a hangover!

Hi to Norah's Team - we got so close, but I blame everything on the alarm clock. I don't think ours was loud enough - I reckon we should bring a foghorn next time.

As far as I know the only promo cards given out were the Comic Con cards, which were given to the 6 who won the group quiz, as part of their goodie bags.

I also believe that one very lucky person found a gold #257 in a mixed wave 1-4 pack. I don't know if that was a special plant for the launch or whether they can be found in 1-4 packs and maybe pure packs throughout the land.

Bear (with a pint) in mind there must only be around 300 of these left.

Gosh I want one... What I nice peice to add to my collection... I am sure that I heard correct that it was annouced that if we ask one of the MC staff they will give us a card

The announcement was that the staff had cards on them. It turns out they all had a silver to give away if we were nice. I didn't get one though.

I was given a black bordered card by the lovely Hannah for being funny.

there were 4 free cards availible 25# 27# 77# and 80#... I didn;t know that the staff had silver cards on them though i was the small dude with the camera and the long tate poster bag.. There was 1 no 257 card which was a plant .. pictures on flickr in a moment at http://www.flickr.com/photos/alasdairp/ was good fun all around
and one of the teams was called brotherhood of the five but don't ask me which..

It was good fun last night. Team Renaissance was made up on the spot - I just tagged on to the 3 people I was talking to, then we got 2 more members join us just as the competition started. I think our win was down to skill with the alarm clock and having 2 genii on the team.

I think there was more than 1 #257 card, as when I opened my team prize winning packs I got one too.

My #P01 code tells me the card has already been solved? Any idea what I should do?

I headed to the pub, but by the time I got there my feet were too sore, so I went home

Yeah, there were at least 3 Gold cards found at the event. I have one, I saw someone else with one at Borders, and a third at 6 Degrees. They all had different numbers out of 333 on them, so I know how many different ones I saw.

I was with Team Renaissance on the final two rounds of the quiz, where we all won a bag with 2 PXC posters, the promo card, and 2 mixed packs and 3 Pure Wave 4 packs, one of which had my Gold card in it. Several people took photos, so everyone knows I've got one.

DAMN! I should have nabbed Guy when I was talking to him! Maybe I scared him a little!!! He seemed cool though, and an ex player at that. I wanted his staff badge!
