Hey Chris, where were you last night, I tried to work out who people were... I am certain you saw me out and about.

Yeah, there were at least 3 Gold cards found at the event. I have one, I saw someone else with one at Borders, and a third at 6 Degrees. They all had different numbers out of 333 on them, so I know how many different ones I saw.

Yes, I was the one that got 168/333 from a random wave 1-4 pack I bought in Borders during the event.

Sorry I couldn't come to the pub, would have loved to have carried on partying and meeting people, unfortunately had a train to catch.

Had a great day both at ASIB and Borders, it was great to put some faces to screen names, and hope to meet some of you again in the future, even if it is a 520 mile round trip!

Special thanks to Mind Candy for putting the event on.

Great time last night, and great to meet so many fellow cube hunters! Just to confirm, all the winners of the quiz got a bag with four packs of cards in it, one of which contained a 257. The P01 card was also loose in the bag.

Just to add my heartfelt cheers for last night - it was great to meet some of you at last, as well as some of the Mind Candy team (thanks for the drinks, guys!). A nice reminder that screens of text will never replace good, honest, face-to-face drunkenness.

(Oh, and if you ever need to get out of London after midnight, you need the luck of Gyvann, it seems. Britain sucks... ;)

Was indeed great to meet all of you last night, even if I was slightly overwhelmed by the number of people who went "you're duckie, aren't you?"

Team Banana FTW, hooray for Tally's skills in wielding a giant red alarm clock with a chicken on it.

I are not a hangovers, thankfully, have survived the clinic and the afternoon, now rocking on until 9PM on paeds assessment and SCBU... Shocked

Yep, was great fun last night, and I must also applaud the Mind Candy, as great fun was had by all and some enjoyed shiny free prizes.

Hello-E-O.

'Twas faboo to see you all last night! Great to put names to faces. Though, of course, can now only remember screen names. Some how it doesn't seem strange to know people called duckie_monster and batgirl and the rest!

I are not hangovers - mostly because I didn't drink of the evil alcomahol. Once I got off the train I had to control a car all the way down the A25 to my house. Drunkeness wouldn't have been a good move.

Big shout out to BatGirl who was being almost blasphemously messianical giving away cards. Was a big help and now I have all red thru purple cards. Only have one black card to trade though, should make getting all the black and silvers I know need interesting!

Was a member of 'The Secret Third Power Agents' ("shhhh!"). We were there greatest - the only team with a catchphrase! Shame we were fated to only get 3 points, really we brought it upon our selves. Though the Wizard of Oz point was so ours!

I neither got a #257 nor was given a free silver by Mind Candy Staff. I was so hard done by!

Sitting at work now, the phones have finally stopped ringing, so we've decided to correct the atrocious grammar skills of our marketing department on the proof for a panto leaflet. Keeps me happy.

Till soon, ttfn.

I should also say a big thank you the BatGirl for the free cards THANK YOU.

Will we see The Secret Third Power Agents (shhhhhhhhhhh) together again or have we disappeared like a shadow

Seems a wasted chance to make yet another cock joke. Less heckling next time I think.

Thanks again Chris for organising. But you are an extremely evil man. Booking a day off is just cheating.

Glad you refrained, Chris. Are you feeling OK?

Many thanks Mind Candy for a fab evening. I had a great time, alarm clock manipulation notwithstanding. Met many ace people, scored a yummy silver from Dan (thank you) on account of a) being lovely b) having bought 10 packs containing nary a silver c) Dan also being lovely d) generosity on the part of Duckie & Juxta who wanted it too!

Roll on the next meet/moot.

Hi kids,

As stated by all who attended - it was great to meet you all at last. Yet somewhat confusing - never knowing whether to use screen names (~are there any other kind???)

BIG thanks to all, and especially to the lovely BatGirl, for swelling my card collection considerably! Teh Secret Third Power Agents (shhhh!) was robbed.... but we're not bitter. We'll be back. Mwwahhhh ha ha ha

Sorry Duckie - I was one of the ones who recognised you. But don't be too upset, cos I think I scared Chris too! Maybe the hug was a bit much - all goes to show you shouldn't drink before a meet! D'oh!

Until next time...
M

twas indeed an ace night :) and full props to sophiecat who makes me feel slightly less crazy for travelling down from manchester - stupid trains meant i missed the borders quiz, but the bar afterwards more than made up for it :)

ta to batgirl (again) for the cards, tally n guin too, arieh for the drink and sebflyte for the intention of a drink and reminiscences about the olden days of syz :) the copious amounts of hugs off lots of random people were also much appreciated, my, we are a friendly bunch aren't we? ;) thanks to chris and mind candy for organising things too.

was ace to meet you all, and hope to make up for all the people i missed at the next party! :)

rach =)

Yes - Secret Third Power Agents of the world (well the part of the world within a short train journey of London apparently) unite!
