 		Weird. I've been seeing these posters all around Bells Corners for a while and I just decided to search it today. Hopefully there will be some explanation soon.

Nothing seems to suggest anything out of the ordinary except that its registered to somewhere in arizona when the posters are in canada mostly. Although I think it's an eon8 clone.


I just noticed this

it can't be another eon8 clone, it was registered on august 10th, 2005, almost a full year before eon8 (that's not just godaddy being all anonymous, is it?)

ok guys...

taking just the places named off in this thread (5 of them) I plotted them on google earth. I used the built-in ruler device to figure out how far all of these are from each other...

to go to every place mentioned (Perth, Cornwall, Williamsburg, Morrisburg, Arnprior) it would be about 188 km (116 miles)

edit: here's the image...it almost seems like there's a line drawn (ok, there is a line drawn, but I mean by the locations...

ok sorry, had too. honestly though i think its weird that these signs are showing up in places such as cornwall, perth, etc. why not target like montreal, toronto etc?

I too have seen the "DON'T HOLD BACK" posters posted in my town of Russell as well as going through perth on a camping trip and my neighbouring town of Embrun. I've seen plenty in Ottawa as well if anyone is interested in knowing this I've also seen t-shirts being sold in a mall in Ottawa... I'm so curious I've been looking everywhere on the net and can't find anything...."Don't Hold Back" sounds like some kind of be all that you can be sort of thing? PLEASE someone find out soon!

Have you visited the website? If it's be all you can be, it's likely for schizo black ops branch of the millitary, judging by the bg sound fx and site layout. Shocked

Yeah I went on the site but my speakers don't work...anyways I hope it's something kool too...and it is funny how there haven't been any appearances in Montreal or Toronto...maybe they soon will?! everyone in montreal keep your eyes open?!

 		I was just sayin' that there are ways around the anon. filter for the domain registrar...anyways, I've seen posters in Brinston, Dixon's Corners, and Heckston (I live between all these places) so whatever it is, event or otherwise, it's definitely targeting the Ottawa and Seaway Valley.

Is there anybody from across the border that has seen them? Or anyone in Hull/Gatineau region?

Also, in response to the C/U question, it's Algonquin College, Carelton University, University of Ottawa, St. Paul's University, and La Cité Colligiale in Ottawa region. In Kemptville there's Kemptville College; in Cornwall, Brockville, and Kingston there's St. Laurence College. I think Queens is nearby this region as well.

 		Ok, I plotted the new areas on the map (google earth can't seem to find Heckston or Dixon's Corners, though...)

I asked a friend who lives in Ottawa to keep an eye open (he lives on Orleans)

And from what I've heard, it's only in this one region of Ontario

And with the new coordinates, we're looking at 270km (168miles)

That's a really big area for just some random ad campiagn which leads to an almost contentless site. Now I really it's something good.

somebody mentioned seeing some kids posting them, so it's possible that whoever's running this hired some poster kids (there's a name...runners, or something like that...street teams?). Either way, it just adds to their seemingly nice-sized budget

 		I've been wondering aloat about what this is too, I live in Manotick which is pretty small and have been seeing signs up here too.
And I noticed that on the site for it http://www.dont-hold-back.com/default.htm they have added the definition for "A Thought"

What mall in ottawa were the being sold at? Someone should ask whoever is selling them what it's about.
