This is what Speaker said in Reader Mail 15 comments:

Don't worry about the distribution guys and gals - I heard a rumor it was an accident - trying to get conformation but these candy guys are hard to get in touch with.

For a world-wide arg as i'm sure it was described as at some point, it looks like only the americans are gonna get anything....

yeah i'm bitter, but w/e.

There have been rumors floating around (and we actually saw the button for) a U.K. distribution. I wouldn't worry about that.

Bah... they spelled Marymoor wrong (Merrymoor Park on the website).

For those in the greater Seattle area, this is actually in Redmond, WA not Seattle... about 15 miles east of Seattle.

6046 W Lake Sammamish Pky NE
Redmond, WA 98052

Traffic is usually HORRIBLE at that exit around that time of day (6PM) so if you plan on showing up, get there EARLY. It's a nice park with an expansive off-leash dog area. If you've got a dog, bring them along. They get to play, and you get to play.

UK distribution is up.

It's easy! We're giving them away! While supplies last, simply go to your nearest Forbidden Planet store (from Thurs 24th August) and say the daily code. Trust us! Your tummy will thank you.

Thursday's code is "Alvar Hanso".
Good eating, UK!!

that's what you see, if you don't have caching problems going to www.apollocandy.com

Updates to the US distribution list. I've added them to the post above.
Summary:

First location is still NY, but an added site at Park Avenue Country Club, New York tomorrow (Wednesday the 23rd)

Seattle location is clarified.
Indianapolis location is clarified.
ABC Times Square location added for 9/6.
Dallas location is clarified.
ESPN zone Washington added 9/7
Philadelphia location added 9/9
Chicago added 9/12
Another Santa Monica location added 9/16
San Francisco is back 9/20

So basically, they merged the original list back in, clarified Seattle, Indianapolis and Dallas, then gave NY another at Park Avenue Country Club.

Poor Canadians, just like being shafted by the producers of Survivor, looks like Apollo doesn't think of us (who get ABC as basic cable and big fans of the show) worthy enough to recieve chocolate.

Question: How do you disappoint a bunch of LOST fans?
Answer: Promise candy and don't show up.

The Seattle event was a bust. Instead of getting candy and a show, we just got the show. It wasn't a horrible experience. We got to watch the first episode of Ugly Betty, get free pizza, pop and popcorn and scream for prizes (the ABC dude picking the people for the prizes favored the left and center of the crowd... I was on the right... bastard!).

In the end, the Apollo truck didn't show up. Everyone who was interested in getting a bar was asked to fill out their name and address on a few notepads and were told that we'd get one ... eventually.

... hopefully not before the ARG is over.

From what the ABC rep said, it also sounded like this wasn't the first Apollo Candy appearance where the van had failed to show up.

Hopefully you all have better luck.
