 		[EVENT] London 31/07/06
Arrived at Borders, at roughly 7pm they started showing a roughly 3 minute video on loop.

It showed the 3P symbol, PXC chars, and a glowing Receda Cube. By 7:30, more people had arrived and the Mind Candy people told everyone that there were 2 competitions, a team trivia game and a wave 4 posters competition.

The wave 4 poster competition was 6 posters of wave 4 cards which you had to solve (Cow cow cwo cow cow, Dudeney's Medallion, St. Ives, Breaking and Entering, Dream Ticket and Bling Bunny) and write down the answers on a slip of paper.

For the team trivia game, everyone had to get into teams of 4 to 6, and play against other teams. In the first round, the winners were the first to five.

The first match was; (please help me fill these in)
? v The Secret Third Power Agents v Team Banana
Team Banana won that.

The second match was;
Nora's Team v THe Stragglers v ? v ?
Nora's team (which I was part of) won that one.

The third match;
? v Team Renaissance (sp?) v ?
Team Renaissance won.

The three winning teams went into the final round;
Team Banana v Nora's Team v Team Renaissance
For this final round, the first to ten would win.
The final score was 7-8-10.

Team Renaissance got PXC goodie bags, with 4 packs of cards (Pure 4(some even with #257 in)), a random poster from the poster comp (one of each), and... a copy of #P01 each!

The poster competition was won by (I forget...) who also got a PXC goodie bag but instead of a poster comp poster, got a A1 Lost: The Cube poster.

Then, nearly everyone headed over to the pub (6 Degrees on 5 St).
I didn't join them, so I can't tell you about the pub visit.

During the event, I asked one of the Mind Candy staff if the Wave 4 Numbers were directions (and even had to be shown them), and all she said was "The Academy didn't put them on there."

Some strange things;
One trivia question, How many triangles?

They accepted the answer 10, but the answer was really 12.

They said that there are 256 cards, "or if you believe the hype, 257."
But what about #P01?

They also had generic back Cruel and Unusual and Mondegreen there.

I already knew about The Cube, and if you look through that topic, I have already posted there. What I meant was, shouldn't this be 258?

Maybe there is 257 *solveable* cards. #257 cannot be solved and doesn't show up with a solves list, whereas #258 can be solved.

 		Rock on!!! Hey everyone, I had a great time last night, (Was on Noras team with Arkai, I was the girl with the patches). I caught a quick glance at the gold card someone obtained last night, wow I was jealous! Still am if I'm honest. I wondered to the bar but went home cos I was shattered. Really enjoyed myself, nice to meet the staff too, they seem like a cool bunch of people.

Anyone actually pick up the card they said they were 'giving out' there, I forgot to ask about it.
