Jayisgames contest

One of my favorite timewaster sites, jayisgames.com, is holding their first ever Flash Game Design Competition. The first 17 entries are up, and they are a wonderful mix of frustrating puzzles and really clever game elements.

My ulterior motive for posting this is to get you all to play Gateway, and help out where I am stuck. Very Happy

Where are you stuck? I can't figure out the part with the colored doorways and the two colored stripes on the floor.

Here are hints for all the rooms, because I want Gupfee cookies. How's that for ulterior motives.

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Room 1, 2, 3: Tutorial

Room 4: The four buttons do the following: Swap 1,2 - Swap 1,2,3 - Swap 2,3,4 - Swap 3,4. You need 1,2,3,4.

Room 5: Match the colors on top of the exit door to those on the floor. Do the inside first and walk out. Make sure you get the correct shades because some are similar to others with close shades.

Room 6: Look into the telescope and keep peeping until the robot writes something on the window. No those are not letters, but things are not always what they seem on the other side of the window.

Room 7: Walk to the center, create to similarly colored portals on both sides and walk through to jump over. Turn off the color and walk out the right.

Room 8: Pick up all the pearls and place them to create stairs. Starting from the right side of the stairs makes it easier.

Room 9: Unscrew the hatch and turn on the TV. Watch Mr. Robot guy walk around to figure out the sequence...

Room 10: The lights above... they blink.

Well I was stuck in the last room with the lightbulbs, but I ended up figuring it out finally.

But those are really good hints Ehsan! You still get cookies. Smile

Everyone should play Submachine Zero, too. That and Gateway are my favorites so far.
