I was thinking maybe the 3P could find it first and then the winner would have to find them and somehow take it back (nonviolently of course Very Happy

) before they sent the cube back. Maybe a dumb idea, but I would enjoy it.

What particularly interests me is that Sente said the 3P power surge came from North America (sorry, I was onsite and totally missed that bit, what with my cellphone going off and helicopters flying overhead). Where exactly do you suppose that surge came from? (looks around suspiciously).

The fact that the worm hole opened up in North America is probably just linked in to the SF event in that it made it more local for the players taking part in the event... Anyway it's not as it is hard to get from the US to the UK (or wherever?) is it? (Actually, with all the security screening etc I know it is quite a task to fly anywhere out of the USA but from an in game perspective this should not be seen as a barrier for 'aliens' with no paper work or means of identification... Wink

)

Still not sure how the worm hole was created though... However, we now possibly know the way that the cube was transported to Earth, so perhaps we need to ask someone in PxC about whether there have been any other 'unexplained' power surges at any point?

(We are assuming the Cube was stolen around the time of the Academy Ball, but this may not be the case at all and the Cube could have been transported months before (or after) that date..?)

The fact that they've landed in North America might mean that they think the cube is hidden in North America and they have a better incling than us already.

Of course it might just mean that's the point where the portal could let them out at that moment or it might even be because they wanted to scare everyone at the SF connection...
