[EMAIL] Iris Page August 16 Re: Emporium of the Wierd

James,

I most certainly believe your story! Just as I would if you had told
me you had
seen a ghost or any other supernatural being! I saw my first spirit
when I was
just a young girl. I don't remember exactly how old I was, but I know I was
still in my white-slatted crib so I couldn't have been more than 1 or 2 at the
most. I don't remember what happened before or after - just seeing a ghostly
figure in the corner of my room. I remember thinking it was funny because he
was squished down in the corner where the ceiling met the floor (I had an
upstairs bedroom with an angled ceiling). He had a orange toy lion with him
that he set down near the window and then disappeared himself. I remember
staring at that lion sitting there in a moonbeam and being terrified that he
would jump on my and eat me up!

During your experience could you sense the, for lack of a better word,
intentions of the shadow people? Some people report feeling terrified because
they can sense a "darkness" in the shadow. Others have had experiences where
shadow folk are playful or even teasing. There are many different theories as
to what shadow people are - ghosts, inter-dimensional beings, demons, people
from the future, etc. I don't pretend to know for sure, but the theory that I
feel the best about is that shadow people are no different than ghosts - that
it is actually the shadow viewer that is different. One person may see the
being in its "full" ghost form, while others who are not as receptive to the
idea of ghosts will merely see the ghost's shadow. Sometimes shadow people
like to pick one person to visit because they feel a connection or bond with
that person. Perhaps you have friends in the shadows just waiting for you to
come out and play?

Quite a few people have asked me about Wes Keeler's bumper stickers,
but no one
mentioned that there was a secret message! Simple substitution? Isn't that
like the crytoquotes in the newspaper? And if his soul is in the pine barrens
that only helps prove that Phyllis actually saw him! Thank you James!

P.S. By the way, what do you mean exactly by "I'm sure Wes would approve,
especially considering the bumper sticker message"?

Has no one informed Iris yet what the message on the bumper sticker said. If not then, maybe someone should.

No, it looks like no one informed her. At least, til now.
