[EMAIL] Iris Aug 16th re: Night of Search for Meg

Code:
Drizabella,

I never thanked you, by the way, for your email about Meaghan being
missing. The poor thing must have heavy thoughts traipsing through her
brain for her to
run off into the Barrens by herself like that.  Hopefully, Dale and Diana will
be able to put their differences aside so that they can help her get through
the difficulties she's having.  If Sam and I could put aside our differences
the other night to help Meaghan, surely her parents should be able to.

It's funny about Sam.  We're such polar opposites - her and I.  She relies so
heavily on technology and I have tried my hardest to avoid it sneaking in and
taking over my life.  I guess I need to see a bit more grey between the black
and white?  I think she may have softened a bit toward me the night of the
search also.  I decided to stay at the municipal building and help out there
rather than going out with the search teams.  I'm not sure why exactly,
it just
felt like I was most needed there.

After being out there for quite some time, the searchers were having
little luck
getting through to Diana's phone.  I could feel that the searchers were
getting
disappointed and losing a bit of hope.  But then, right before midnight, I
started to feel distanced - like I wasn't really there.  When I stopped
focusing on what was happening there at the municipal building, I could better
focus on the search in the Barrens itself.  It was like I was there, in the
trees, searching for them myself.  I tried to tell Sam, but it was like she
couldn't hear me.  So I started to screaming, hoping that someone would hear
that we were close and something was about to happen!  Right when the clock
struck 12, Diana's cell signal got stronger and the teams were able to move
closer to where she was.  When Dale was right where they were supposed to be
according to the signal, I could see him.  He was standing right on top of
them!  It was so magnificent, Drizabella, when Dale said he found them in the
cave below.  We were literally jumping for joy!

Iris
