 		NEW ARG -- Related to new Trading Card Game
The card game is Tenacious Game's "The Spoils" (www.thespoils.com)

In the bottom-left of one of their beta cards, there is this address:

The link is to a blog, talking about communicating with another world. It appears there is an archive with hidden old "journal entries". But we need to figure out the log-in and password.

The game is afoot...

If this is the real deal, could it be that it's leaked quicker than anticipated? If you go to the "about" page for the blog you see some boilerplate text that comes with the word press installation.

If this is truly an arg associated with a product launch, you'd think they wouldn't have some so "unprofessional" as that about page...

Another possibility is that the archives is locked to keep people who've stumbled onto this blog from going too deep. They could be creating the back archive posts now, and when the game officially starts the archives will be open...

Just a thought.

I disagree. I think this is a case of justifying why there is no historical content. "I've restarted my blog" is just an excuse, rather than the PMs having to go back and write a year's worth of blather about his ordinary job at the Call Center.

Personally, I enjoy reading backstory. It helps to define the personality of your trailhead character. But I realize that it is a *LOT* of work for very little immediate payoff. And then to muck with the entry dates to make it look like the site really did exist a year ago and was being added to over time? It's a great illusion when done right. Otherwise, the players just have to suspend disbelief and pretend that this isn't a newly created website for a newly created character.

My opinion: leave the archives alone.
